Recently I discovered a post at ESPN.com - NBA - Stein: Ranking each East team on its summer moves that was a little less than flattering of the Pistons. The author of this article is Marc Stein, obviously one of those "experts" who really doesn't know anything. He has ranked Detroit 11th out of 15 in the East. The following are the teams that are ahead of us: Miami Heat Chicago Bulls Indiana Pacers Cleveland Cavilers Milwaukee Bucks Toronto Raptors Boston Celtics Orlando Magic Washington Wizards New York Knicks It looks as if there's a lot of people out there making it look like Ben Wallace was the whole Detroit Piston's team. He was not. Sure he was the DPOY three times in a row and grabbed some boards, but we still have four All-Stars on the team. I could not make this more clear to people for the life of me. I wish I could tell Stein in person that he needs to rethink himself when he ranks even the Knicks before the Pistons. There is no way the Detroit will slide from Numero Uno in the whole league record-wise to #11 in the East. Just no way.
