Georgetown sinks, and so does my bracket!

If you view only the top half of my bracket (East & South), everything looks pretty good. Then look at the bottom half (Midwest & West), it pretty much turns blood red...I'm willing to call my bracket a total loss.

Moving forward, my only satisfaction will be if State advances next weekend :)

Dude, Chris Jackson should be WAY higher on your list. Behind Korver? WTF?! The only guy on your list I'd rate at the same level as a deadly college shooter as Jackson was Rice, because he was so $$$$$$ in the tournament during UM's title run.

That would hurt my bracket a lot, considering I have Memphis winning it all... :sssh:

Only reason I picked against Michigan State is because I figured everyone here would pick them to go a long way (or even win it all... ahem. Warthog), so if I picked against them and they lost early I'd pick up some nice points.

On the flip side, it could cost me a few points against EVERYONE.

    Costanzatown, you stink!

I've got UNC winning it all. They play the red-hot Washington State Cougars next. It should be a great game; Washington dominated their first two games.

You mean the North Carolina "let's run up the score and play our starters to the end even with a 30 point lead." Tarheels?? :)

Can't officially wish that on any team, but in the end, the finals will be a matchup between the Heels and the lucky Bruins who are the beneficiaries of refs calls in crunch time 3 of their last 4 games. Check out this vid probably put up by an Aggie. Stanford and USC fans feel their pain as they fell victims to the refs whistle swallowing in the Pac 10 Tourney 2 weeks ago.:sssh:

I wonder if it is officiating that is horrible or we get all the fancy-shmancy reviews available, along with internet replays and stuff like that, so that the mistakes are all out there in the spot light.

UNC still has a lot of energy left over from all those years of running the four corners.

The funny thing is none of the guys playing now probably ever saw a 4 corner offense.. wasn't that the 70's and early 80's when Dean ran that darn thing..

Smith and UNC ran it at times all the way into the '80s, but that went out when the NCAA finally started using a shot clock in the mid '80s.

Including a very annoying ACC tourny game against Virginia with Ralph Sampson that I remember particularly vividly.

College hoops started using a 45 second clock in 1985.

Final four set as all # 1 seeds for the first time in history?? All teams colors are a shade of blue and white.

UCLA and Menphis had scares in of their opening two games but breezed into the final four this weekend.

Kansas and North Carolina blew out their two opening weekend opponents, bit then both had to hold on win final four clinching games.

Outstanding individual play in the tourney by Davison Stephen Curry UCLA's Kevin Love and North Carolina's Tyler Hansbrough.

Can Tyler step up his game and will the Heels to the title? Does anybody see him being successful in the NBA, or will be another Tarhill/Bluedevil from NC that will fight for pt.

Will UCLA finall win the whole thing now that there is no Florida Gators there to stop them??

Only two of us in the pf pool picked Memphis, me and CJ, so if they win, CJ gets the win as I messed up neglecting to pick their opponent:yellowprison:

What a night! Memphis breezes to a win and Kansas destroys the darlings of the tournament. If Memphis wins, I win $100 from my other bracket, where I'm tied for first with someone who picked Kansas to go all the way!

Don't expect to win. Hansborough had more fingers in his face that Vlasic has pickles.... Although my predicting a Kansas win with my bracket finished could be a good omen for you.:)
