I am so upset at what I usually dont get upset about: and thats TV coverage. but to sit here today and hear all these jerks shout the praises of Tom Izzo now that he's WON is so disconcerning to me. There should be some sort of penalty when the ANALYSTS lose, just like when coaches and players lose. I mean, jay bilas and Hubert Davis? Two of the biggest NBA busts ever(not that they were THAT great anyway). Vitale? tHE worst coach in Piston history. And Digger Phelps who won LESS with MORE than any coach EVEr and ZERO national titles!!!! Where on ESPN can I post this. Maybe PTI??
Pretty impressive game from Appel. Stanford star nearly outscores Iowa St. in win - College basketball- nbcsports.msnbc.com
The true measure of March madness - Just found out I need to be in a meeting in Chicago next Wednesday. The flights from DTW to ORD that usually cost $120 - $150 are running $450 - $650 during those days next week.
Yeah, I got a little excited after the Spartans victory. Still, I'm no fan of UNC, and I think that Hansborough is soft. So, I'm picking 'Nova over the Heels.
Unfortunately, I'm prolly gonna win this thing. (go Sparty!!!) On another note. I was channel flipping last night and the Big-10 network was showing the '79 championship game. I watched a few minutes of that thing and I came away with the following observations: 1. Magic was an AMAZING player. 2. Greg Kelser could jump outta the gym. Dude had HOPS! 3. Larry Bird's mom (they cut away to her in the stands) looked EXACTLY like a middle aged female version of Larry Bird. - and that scared the (expletive) outta me!
I've always though that Larry Bird looked a little like a guy in drag impersonating a middle-aged female.
How much you wanna bet this story gets played by the national media? If Final Four fans get too rowdy, cops have Nerf attack ready | Freep.com | Detroit Free Press
Tyler soft? NO WAY!! He's the man. I love Scottie but he can't mess with Ty Lawson aka Young Will Bynum (they play and look alike). UNC is going to be in the championship game with UConn.
