No doubt. There is some serious competition going on.

    Hilltoppers Shock the World!

I couldn't sign up for the PF.com brackets, but I swear I picked the Hilltoppers in my work pool. I didn't really expect them to win, but I usually pick the Kentucky and Michigan teams in the first round.

I basically fill out my bracket based on which uniforms I think are prettiest. That strategy doesn't seem to be working well this year.

    true to my nature, i

1.compile as much information about all the teams ahead of time
2.array it all in a perfectly logical way
3.rank all the teams from 1-64
    4.vow to pick entirely rationally
5.begin to second guess my rational picks
6.wind up picking the whole field on the basis of a half-assed mix of accurate information, inaccurate information, reasoned analysis, intuition, and, of course, a major dose of unfounded love and hate.

Wow. I didn't realize there were ways to do it other than #6.

hahaha i figure it'll be accurate to call myself a psychologically and emotionally healthy human being when I can just accept that for me there are no ways other than # 6 and so am able to dispense with the charade of 1-5.... in life as in picking brackets

Oh Boo Hiss! My Fighting Illini bite the dust int the first round. The Big Ten is my conference (alma mater Hoosier and Illini) and they had seven tourney bids, but I always let my sentiments get in my way. As soon as I found out Chester Frazier had injury that involved surgery, I should have picked Western Kentucky. Oh well. My Sweet Sixteen bracket is busted because I had Illinois there too. Sigh.

    GO ILLINI 2010!!!

ESPN reported that over 28,000 had perfect picks yesterday in their ESPN bracketology..I forgot to enter theirs.. They also said that both Obama and McCain had identical picks all the way down to picking the Heels for the champion...how does that happen... The are 11-5 for last night.

After going 12-4 last night, so far all of my picks in today's early games are ahead and all of my sweet 16 are still in play.

You're free to attack HQ, by all means. He is a big boy, and he can kill 20 men with a toothpick and a rubber band, so he can certainly handle "hiz Bizness"

That said, if things get messy, I will not come in and cleanup, so don't start anything you can't see through to the end.

    Peace.
