May be is difficult to make happen but this is a good 3 teams trade between Orlando,Memphis and Detroit. NBA Trade Machine - ESPN
Cavs deal West for Sessions Cavs traded Delonte West and Sebastian Telfair to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for guard Ramon Sessions, center Ryan Hollins and the Timberwolves’ second-round pick in 2013.
Too much unneccessary movement, Sac has the $$$ to eat Rip and/or Tay's contract in a trade, no need to involve Boston. I highly doubt Joe does anything, but if he does I think Sacto will be our dance partner. You really like Gasol don't you.....no way Memphis makes that move. That literally made me Laugh Out Loud.....very LOUD!
Even now,Marc Gasol is a steal, two days ago he said in one interview( Marc Gasol: "¿Qué seré más importante? La prioridad es ganar " | ) he is well in memphis, but his contract ends next year,i don´t know if he wants a lot of money from grizzlies or he prefers to go a contender like free agent. Detroit is not one mediterranean weather city like barcelona(florida or california sun citys),but gasol is a winner,if detroit is building with talent, young people,we clear age players we are a perfect fit,is a intimidating player,he is still young. Is a leader in grizziles roster,we need this kind of players. Marc gasol in middle term is out of memphis, that´s reasson the trade, gortart assure grizziles 4 years of good center, and gasol give us another IQ center joining Monroe. Monroe/Villanueva/Gasol in the picture are young players to build a championship next years. We have this year draft and next to add one future ben wallace/rodman and add one second PG together Stuckey or other PG we could trade.
What exactly has Memphis ever won? The Pistons will be back on top again. Memphis will never win a title.
We're a better franchise, but I'd be doing backflips if we had that roster. Hasheem Thabeet included. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Gasol on this team but I don't think we have the trade options and aren't really an attractive FA destination. What if a team like Miami throws him the MLE next year? Memphis would be a team to watch for if not for the dreaded Michael Heisley/Chris Wallace combo.
Agree with CJ on this one. Why would Memphis gut their rather formidable front court for an aging Prince, a mediocre center and a nobody? Other than that, it's a huge improvement for us (once we buy out Vince Crapter), and turns Orlando into a serious contender (fills the two gaping holes they have at SG and PF).
Well, this is tough, but I believe she'll take her talents to Minneapolis. Got to go with your heart on this one.
