Dirk also hit some big ones late in Game 4, but only when it was a two or three possession game, not when they could tie or take the lead. We'll see if they can get that done in the last two minutes here.

I have Dirk in that Ozark contest thing tonight, but I'm rooting against my own guy. :clone:

Warriors might blow this with terrible shot selection. Now can Dirk hit the big FTs?

Nelson needs to find a play to call. Any play at all.

This is the biggest chokejob in the history of western civilisation.

And now they can't rebound the FT...man, just a complete and total collapse in the last couple of minutes.

The good part about this is, I get to see another one of these games this week, from Oakland!

I don't think the Mavs can win 3 straight.

Will be interesting to see if Terry is suspended for Game 6.

The one concern for the Warriors is going to be in bouncing back from such an utter choke in the last couple of minutes, when they clearly had it won. However, they did take the Mavs' best shot in the first half and came all the way back. I'm still pretty sure that their crowd will get them over the top in Game 6.

This is why you try going to the paint to secure victories. Why continue to throw up 3 balls when you are leading or the game is close????? Warriors blew this one.

They better hope that the they can continue the adrenaline they had in this game carries over to Oakland and crowd shows up with help them....I mean they need Mullins, Richmond, Jessica Alba, Swarzenegger, and Barry Bonds show to cheer them on:MusicBigGrin:

Don't hold your breath. I will voluntarily wear any avatar that you and Roscoe can come up with, for the next week, if that happens.

    Wow, what a great game.

That was a lousy 6th foul call on Davis.

Stephen Jackson is easy to hate.

    Mavs on a 15-0 run.

Gotta give Dirk some credit. Baron hits an insane 3 to put the Warriors up 9, Dirk comes right back with a 3, a block, and then another 3. Plus 4-4 from the FT line in the last minute.

Well, Warriors blew a great chance to wrap it up. Up by 9 with 3 minutes to go and they don't score again. Now they may be in a world of hurt. Dallas is getting more confident as time goes by. I also don't get that 6th foul on Davis. And, what in the hell is wrong with clapping? These refs just vie for the air time. Why in the heck do they always have to be the center of attention? What a bunch of losers.

I definitely don't think the Warriors are in a world of hurt. Dallas can get some confidence from the big run to win the game, but they also have to deal with blowing a 21 point lead at home.

I didn't say they are. I said they may be. I still think their chances are pretty good to win this series, but it will be much tougher now. You don't want to give a good team extra chances.

What a moronic end to the game for the Warriors. It was like they had no coach.

They are up by 9 and scoring at will, and they start trying to protect the lead by having 1 guy dribble out the shot clock. When it was time to make a move, that guy threw up a horrendous shot. The Mavs come down and nobody thinks to guard Dirk? Oops, 3-pointer.

Then, that exact situation gets repeated again. Dribble out clock. Shoot horrible, forced shot. Watch Dirk hit another 3.

Ok, so they are still up. Hey, we're up 3, let's dribble out the clock again and shoot the worst shot imaginable. Miss. Dallas comes down, drives and gets the and 1... but misses the FT!

What a lucky break. Now, GS needs to get some points after 3 or 4 straight chucks. What do they do? They shoot another bad 3 pointer and miss horribly.

Then it got worse from there.

For someone who enjoys end-game strategy like me, this was torture.

Then Stephen Jackson is blowing a gasket and failing to leave the floor when ejected, and Nelly doesn't even try to calm him down. Dude, you can't let a key player get suspended when you are about to pull off one of the greatest upsets ever.

I still think Dallas has this one.

They only need two in a row now. :)

I believe they can pull this out. That January championship has to at least earn them a trip to the second round.:cold:
