There was definitely some crappy officiating going on out there, and I do think some of those refs should at least hear from the league about it, but I agree with what the game re-capper on the Warriors blog said:

And the fact that the Warriors had only 9 assists against 24(!) turnovers didn't exactly put them in a good position even without the officiating coming into it.

The Warriors re-capper ends with this:

    Here is another interesting blog:
Foul Play (Warriors 99, Mavs 112) - Fast Break: A Warriors fan blog by the San Jose Mercury News -

The guy's got a few good points in there.

All I know is you can't fault a player because a ref gets to be a jackass. Regardless of whether or not anyone thinks it's a bad idea for Davis to clap sarcastically, his ejection was totally unwarranted. These guys HAVE to be held accountable for how they call the game or it's a farce.

Those throwbacks with "The City" logo are pretty sweet.

I normally dislike Jim Gray's gotcha interviewing, but it's funny to listen to him needle Stern.

Got tickets to Game 4. :party2:

Haven't really been watching this, but the Warriors are whooping that a#$ so far. My bro must be going nuts in the stands. Unfortunately for him, he won't be in town if they get to Game 6!

Hard to believe how badly the Mavericks are getting stomped here. A 67 win team, but they look totally helpless.

Well D4e why do you think this is even possible? I mean I know the reasons we've heard: lots of inseason injury, the midseason trade, Nellie's coaching prowess and the ever noted "matchup problems."

Did Dallas overlook them? Not likely with their knowledge of Nellie and also they got beat by them so many times. I just don't get it.

Could it be that the basketball gods just smile upon Golden State? I watched GS alot in the beginning of the season because I had Biedrins on my fantasy team. I like them, they were fun...but I never ever thought they could look dominant.

The matchup thing is worriesome, because we don't matchup very well against this team either.

I have to say it. I think it's sad. A proud hardworking believing team is getting humiliated. I just hope they can find a way to win the series. It would be devastating for them to get bounced out of the first round. I can hardly watch this game.

    Your thoughts D4e? How?

GS does match up really well with them, and Dallas has definitely been lacking in leadership. Baron and Jackson are leading the Warriors and giving their teammates confidence, but nobody's getting it done for Dallas.

Still, I'm waiting on Game 4 before shoveling any dirt on the Mavs' grave. If they win that one, they're back in a good position to win the series. But if they don't...I think they're probably done. Phoenix did come back on the Lakers last year from down 3-1, but these Warriors are definitely a more formidable bunch than last year's Lakers were, and I seriously doubt they would blow it if they got up 3-1.

Looks like GS will take a 2-1 lead into game four of this series. Their starters have outscored the mavs starters 87-63 with 5 minutes left in the game. Most of the stats look fairly even except the 10% difference in fg%. Im going to say GS will take this out in 6....

Dallas looks lost. When was the last time you saw the whole team look at the coach with question - what do we do now? Warriors are just running them out of the gym. And their getting it done on their defensive end as well.

And we think our DHOFers are bad...the Warriors blog has one poster who's so obsessed with seeing Adonal Foyle play that he's posted multiple comments about being pissed at Nellie for not putting Foyle in. So he's really mad, in spite of the minor fact that they just beat the #1 seed by 18.
