People in the Bay Area are going crazy because their team haven't had any playoffs and any playoff success in ages. You can only imagine what would've happened if Lions would've made the playoffs and were ahead in the playoff game in the 3rd quarter. D-town would go nuts.
The Lions make the playoffs. That is too funny. Must be in the fantasy of all fantasy league play. LOL There is a better chance of Doak Walker rising form his grave and returning to the Lions backfield than their is of the Lions making the playoffs, at least in this decade.
The Mavs are not playing adequate defense. Despite everything you have heard from Avery Johnson, they still have trouble with uptempo teams because that is really what they are. A hybrid running team. Teams like Phoenix and G-State lure them into playing up tempo and it kills them. Last night was the most non-Piston bball I have watched this playoffs, and I noticed that the Mavs were not running very many high P&Rs with Dirk, which is basically their bread and butter. Dallas has to play tougher and find a way to slow the game down.
Dallas has to start playing with a purpose. They looked lost, especially in the last game. Avery also looked like a guy who has no answers. The question is how deep is their doubt at this time? Can they climb out of that hole? This is going to be interesting to see.

Wow, Baron hits an INSANE halfcourt shot to tie it at the half. Dallas controlled the pace early, but the Warriors got it going in the second quarter, with Pietrus bringing some crazy energy off the bench. This is exciting stuff! Jessica Alba is in the house for the Warriors; apparently she's friends with Baron. They need to get her to do her Sin City dance routine at the half.
I don`t know about a team of destiny, but if they win this game, the rest of the west won`t be afraid, let`s just say they will "proceed with caution"
If Reggie Miller mis-pronounces Desagana Diop or Mikael Pietrus one more time, he should be fired. He is announcing just like he played. Choking.
Mavs finally showing some heart with a huge run here late in the third...with a little help from the refs along the way.
Some of these calls the Mavs are getting are total BS. Stephen Jackson has to keep his head straight. He can't let the refs take him out of the game. Al Harrington sucks.
This is the most fun, non-Pistons basketball I have ever watched. Tie game at 77 heading to the 4th Q. Baron Davis has been clutch. The refs have been terrible. Dallas is not showing much backbone in a tough situation.
