    Hello All,

Sheed, Amir, 2009 second round pick for Kaman.

Everybody wants to dump billups but everyone was on his jock before Stuck showed promise. One FULL year under billups wouldn't optimize Stuckey's potential? Now is an ideal time for another team to buy-low on Billups thinking that we might be deterred by his playoff injury and Stuckey's emergence.

Are we? Do we really think our team will be BETTER with bynum off the bench to give Stuckey rest as opposed to Stuckey off the bench to give Billups rest? If Stuckey gets injured, are we really that confident in Bynum?

Love Amir, but his value is pretty high for a bad free-throw shooter who fouls 9 times a minute with no real experience. AJ fans CHILL. I know he's a monster and I know 2 bad vegas games doesn't mean anything. I agree he should have got more pt to prove himself in the regular season. But just chill...we could get Kaman--a proven rebounder, shot blocker, young, cave dwelling true Center machine from Michigan who has yet to plateau, but can probably put up around 20 a night.

Hopefully the Clips are swayed by Amir's youth and athleticism? Maybe they could spend that dough on Okafor and slide Thornton to SF? Throw Sheed at C to mentor Jordan who hopefully continues a beastly vegas summer to make a Kaman trade more palatable? An emerging prospect in Amir AND a second round pick to top it off? Are the pistons giving up too much? Hell no! Will the Clips bite? Hopefully, but probably not.

Way too much to give up for Kaman IMO.

I wouldn't trade one of those '09 2 rounders for a young Mike Jordan.

I like the fresh approach here. Meaningless horrible trade scenarios are pretty common in sports forums, but they usually favor the home team. This one favors the opponent which provides some much needed balance.

I also like the description of Kaman:

    That's good.

People will argue with this cause we don't need a [STRIKE]low post scoring threat[/STRIKE] a [STRIKE]person who will camp out in the paint[/STRIKE]...actually, I'm ready to say goodbye to AJ and Sheed in one fell swoop..

I hope we don't lose AJ...I had him penciled in as the 9th man in our rotation.

Not to rain on your parade but...

    Sheed - $13.6 million
    Amir - $3.6 million

    Kaman - $10 million

    This won't work.

Sheed and picks, take back an expiring.

The problem is, Kaman has ADD, plus, it's hard to get insurance for a caveman.

At least this trade is semi realistic (you would have to work out more details to even the salaries). The thought process is good and its interesting to see possibilities big or small.

I would put Billups in this trade and take out everyone else in the trade proposal, that should give us Kamen.

Whatever scenario that is proposed must include Billups period.
