They'll be rested for this one! Bird Singler might be able to play the whole game after all the time off.

It will be especially disheartening if they get blown out after the shorthanded C's and Cavs played them so close (even if it is better for them to lose.).

We are shorthanded too....so the recipe for disaster is already set up. We go up by 20 in the first half as the Heat go through the motions and then lose by 15 when our guys panic midway through the third when Blaha says "don't look now, but the Heat are within 18"...

I'm actually really pumped up to watch this game. It should be such an epic mismatch that it will be interesting to see if we can hang in there. If it goes horribly wrong, that will also be entertaining. Much more interesting than watching us get snuffed out by Charlotte.

Miami will be ahead by 20 points, midway through the 2nd quarter.
4th quarter will be a time to see which bench is more jovial.
1/2 the Pistons bench, who don't seem to care...or the heat bench.

    Miami by 29...

Joe should sign Delonte West to a 10 day for this one.

Dahntay Jones would also be a good weapon to take out a superstar or two.

Pistons are not getting a whole lot of love here. I highlighted some of my favorite parts.

Because ESPN is showing winter x games and TNT is showing March Madness tourney games, the Piston-Heat game has been added to the NBA TV schedule tonight.

The League Pass subscribers saw Wednesday nights remarkable comeback over the Cavs, so the NBA wants to make sure that all non LP subscribers outside Michigan and South Florida get a chance to see the Heat get challenged and then embarrass the Pistons on their way to number 25.

I also read that Spoelstra was so confident, that he gave the team the day off yesterday and they skipped today's shoot around.

Oops, looks like me and Bill were reading the same article....he just posted it before me..

If we are down more than 15 after one, do I abandon the game and get in my hot tub and relax, or do I take Mrs. Dre to the movies to see the Heat Olympus Has Fallen?

One bad omen.. have to listen to the Heat announcers on NBA TV :crossed:

Well I the streak continues...that's 10 losses in a row and Charlotte can break it tomorrow if they lay down and tank more than we do.

Pistons played well in the first half and the NBA was happy as it made fans comeback for the second half instead moving over to watch March Madness on the other four channels.....but alas the Pistons settled down and played their part in the 3rd quarter allowing the Heat to start pulling away with about three minutes left in the period and only scored 14 points to the heat 19.

It should be noted that JCalderon was magnificent in the first half scoring 16 points and 6 assists. He finished the game with 18 pts and 7 assists as the Heat completely shut him down in the second half. He didn't score that bucket or get that extra assist until it was less than 90 seconds left in the game.

Of course if you have 22 TO's it's hard to beat the best team in the world and you can't go 7/22 from beyond the arc and allow their bench to outscore yours 35-13.

Speaking of March Madness, one of the NBA studio announcers Ron Thompson must have been sick watching his alma mater and Dad's school Georgetown going down faster than the Pistons...to one those Florida community colleges......now that was a bracket buster as I had them going to final four

By the way...I didn't take Mrs. Dre to the movie yet, but I did get in the hot tub during halftime and third qtr and listened to Rick Mahorn give the color analysis on my phone. :emptybath:

I believe that is what's known as being clutch.

That's the one I would have chosen also.

I was agitated all week about the gap between games and then I forgot they were playing tonight. Who was it that made Wade fall? He looked bad afterwards. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy!

The Heat radio guys were openly talking about how the Heat didn't seem to care about the game. They were impressed with Monroe though.

That was the best game Singler has had all season. He was hitting pure shots....playing some impactful D...good game. Monroe was excellent. I think with Drummond and Knight we win. Or if Charlie could have hit a shot or 2.

English and JJ were irritating the Heat...was it English who knocked down Wade?
