Pistons by 14 Charlie Villanueva will score a triple double like this.. 30 points - 10 rebounds - 14 turnovers
Nope. Apparently, he hurt his other ankle now. Pistons Charlie Villanueva injures other ankle - Detroit Bad Boys
I'm only a casual internet fan but I gotta think that my intelligence is being insulted here. So the Pistons and Charlie are actually asking me to believe that the other ankle was hurt while he was simply running down the court in Practice? I'm happy that Charlie hasn't played this year but I refuse to believe that his ankles were injured through rigorous sleeping and simply trotting down the floor during practice. Charlie and the Pistons are finished with each other and the team is doing CV a favor by allowing him to save face with some phantom injuries to his ankles. Joe can't trade the guy because he sucks and has a sucky contract. Charlie will be bought out or amnesty'd when the opportunity presents itself. Joe will blame injuries for the fact that it never worked for Charlie in Detroit. I will continue to roll my eyes.
Joe learned his lesson. He's deliberately keeping CV out of the rotation to prevent him from ruining the tanking. Chaz Garbage is the ultimate tank-buster. Perhaps we should call him "the bazooka".
No way that this is fake. Charlie wouldn't let his market value drop based on fake reputation that he is fragile. The reality is that he is fragile. This may be impossible to answer, but what is the most money ever payed to an NBA player in a season who played, but failed to score. Charlie is sitting on 3 games, 9 minutes, 0 points, and several million dollars.
I was able to go back 7 seasons. Here's the number of players that played but failed to score. I listed the salaries for players that made >$1M. 2011-12 sesason: 6 players. Chaz ($7.5M) 2010-11 season: 4 players. 2009-10 season: 2 players. 2008-09 season: 1 player. Martell Webster ($3.77M) 2007-08 season: 1 player. 2006-07 season: 6 players. Vitaly Potapenko ($3.67M) 2005-06 season: 6 players. Nene Hilario ($3M). Bryon Russell ($1.1M) 2004-05 season: 4 players. Ibrahim Kutluay ($1.6M) Interesting stat is the 05/06 Nuggets having two players in Nene and Russell playing and neither scoring a single point. Of course Nene is considered a premier big man now. Perhaps Chaz will start tearing up the league in 2018.
Cheering for them is one thing. Facing reality is another. The Pistons don't play tonight, by the way.
