    LOL

Does anyone also find it hysterical (in a sad way or i drank too much and it's now funny way) that if we hire a JVG, AJ, etc type that we had a championship caliber team last year pre trade and hired an inexpierenced rookie and are now rebuilding and hiring an established coach.

    Joe is confused.

Hire rookie. Trade way starting PG to make situation infinitely worse. Gut team. Hire win now coach.

Re: Terry Foster: Joe should coach the team

He'd be the only one that MIGHT have some job security in that job.

Joe is way too smart to become coach.

Remember how some news org saw Sarah Palin sneak in for late night secret meeting with McCain before he announced her as his mate?

Did anyone hanging around the Palace or metro airport last night see Doug Collins sneaking in on a helicopter for a midnight meeting with Joe and Mrs D?

If Joe wanted to coach, he would have fired Curry midseason and taken over then like McHale did.

Re: Terry Foster: Joe should coach the team

I like Terry Foster but I feel he's doing a little bit of grandstanding with this little column of his today.

I'd be willing to wager that he wrote this quite some time ago and has been waiting for the hammer to fall regarding coach tablecloth.

    ...whatever.

This sucks. I had this "Curry Fired" photochop banner for months and deleted it last week.

I personally don't think Laimbeer is the best person for the job right now. He would have rocked any of the last 3-4 years or maybe another year down the line. If nothing else, Laimbeer would make it an exciting season.

Send it to me. I'll post it for you. I'm used to getting in trouble with Scoe. That poster is worth it. :pound:

Excellent point Slip. Maybe a rebuilding team isn't the right fit.

Some intersting stuff coming out. How do you lose the confidence of the other coaches?

ahem.......u want to go back and pull up my chat quotes.....LOL
I kept telling yall the game is NOT JUST played ON THE FLOOR. Its played on the plane, in the clubhouse and when watching other coaches on TV. When Chauncey left, this team KNEW their run was over. Hiring Curry is the worst decision in Piston history since trading for McAdoo.

I don't know man, with a new roster, no built in expectations, and young players with no ability or record to question his authority and/or experience. This would be the perfect time to bring Bill in. The problem is Joe wasted last year with the #12 experiment.

Next month I will officially declare that the Michael Curry experiment is over.
