There's a chance that Damon Stoudamire, former teammate of Rasheed "Roscoe" Wallace may be bought out by the Memphis Grizzlies.

Could be a nice veteran minimum pickup, allowing for the trade of Hunter + Dupree + Murray for future picks.

By "Gs", do you mean Gangstas or Guards?

Mighty Mouse was of course a member of the Jailblazers.

I thought Hunter had a deal to retire as a Piston, with the front office deal. I doubt that he'd agree to waive that for the good of the team.

Exactly my reaction every freakin' time someone suggests we trade Hunter + ______. Joe D once said the toughest decision he had to make as Pistons GM was to trade Hunter. You think he will do it again, when it's obvious Hunter will be taking a front office job when his playing days are over? Hunter is the one guy on the roster who is guaransheed not to be traded. HUNTER IS GOING NOWHERE. Hopefully I don't have to eat my words in the next few weeks.

Lindsey has a greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom.

You weep for Darko, and you curse the Raptors.

You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what Lindsey knows.

That Darko's trade, while tragic, probably saved lives. And Hunter's existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives.

You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want Lindsey in that front office, you need him in that front office.

Team management uses words like honor, code, loyalty. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent drafting someone. You use them as a punchline.

Lindsey has neither the time nor the inclination to explain himself to a man who rises and sleeps under the championship banners that he provides, and then questions the manner in which he provides them.

Lindsey would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, he suggests you put on a workout jersey, and run some suicides. Either way, Lindsey doesn't give a darn what you think you are entitled to.

It's from the movie, "A Few Good Men" with Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson.

    Reworked of course.

    Now we're talking.

They can just waive Lindsey after the trade and he can put on a suit and work for Billy D.

The question is, would DS get the playing time he's looking for here?

I think it would be win win. A playoff tested guard, a veteran who can shoot, dribble and pass.

Affordable. Could probably be had for a 1 year deal.

Someone who could fill in for Billups in the event of an injury.

And someone who can push Billups for minutes.

    thats a no-brainer

also i'd be happy with mighty-mouse. it appears being on a winning team is more important to him than 30 minutes a game, which he wouldn't be getting in memphis anyway. do it joe.

I'd be happy with Stoudamire. He's still a serviceable player who can score and pass the ball. Keep in mind he had a 54 point game only 2 seasons ago. Only problem is he is quite injury prone, but hey, its better than the backup point we currentley dont have.

I'm pretty sure we could trade Flip Murray for Marvin the Martian.

Has anyone in this thread pointed out that we don't want another guard? Rod Stuckey is our main backup and we've got several other options already on hand. We will be playing the rook.

that offer has been rejected. The counter offer is either 1 2nd Rnd draft pick or Flip Murray + a 1st rnd draft pick.
