He's German. There's no Inca blood in Fabio.
No way Sheed would say anything like that in public, is there? LOL He really looked bored on the post game interview on ABC yesterday especially when the ABC announcer thanked him and as he turned to walk away he said in a low voice "yea". I love Sheed but he does nothing to make the Stern and national media like us.
Actually, I believe he is a member of the Aryan race by ancestry whose parents or grand parents moved from Germany to Argentina.
You have to know Sheed, to love Sheed. Sad that most of the basketball nation doesn't know Rasheed. Funny that he could care less.
pistons Consider this: 1. Mikael has play-off experience and was a note worthy contributor against the Dallas Mavericks last season. 2. He is relatively young born 1985. So his athleticism is intact. He can defend, rebound and has a higher fg % against Fabio. 3. He is used to the half-court set, more used to Hermann who wants to run, run and run. ALL IN ALL why do we even argue especially so when Mullin and Dumars are about to pull in the trigger!
Re: pistons I am all for any trade that will move Herrmann without having to give up another player except of Murray or Brezec or a draft choice.
Pietrus could indeed be a good pick up. Not that I think he would help the team win the title this year, we've got enough bullets in the gun, as-is. But....Jarvis in no way whatsoever has solidified his role on this team (in terms of past this season), we may get Pietrus and see that he's a better long term fit for the backup SF spot, and have an inside track to give him a long term deal. It would give us a full half season of seeing him in practice for evaluative purposes.
You probably want to evaluate player based on game performances, not practices. And it will be nearly impossible to find Pietrus playing time, other than sitting Hayes.
Are you sure about that???? It made Amir a few million!!!!!! And we saw him play what 3-5 games.
Here, you're talking a kid walking out of high school versus an established NBA player. I would say it is not the same. And while Amir was getting interest from around the league, Pietrus seems to be stuck with GS.
Pietrus is terrible, I hope we don't do this trade. Give Hermann a chance to back up Tay instead of Jarvis for a week, and then see what happens. Just like five games! I like him more than Jarvis anyway.
That is not a nice thing to say about Marty_Blake, I mean Pietrus...
I think with Herrmann's propensity to hoist up three point shots we should nickname him "The Aryn Bomber"
Yeah, but I thought Pietrus is another Tayshaun Price.
I want more Herrmann and less JH! Herrman may be not your typical NBA player, but that is his biggest strength- he gives opponents fits, is good at penetrating and his D is solid. I'm sure he's just as good as Hayes, so why not give him a try?
Hello everybody, hold on, this is BOGUS information. Pietrus was picked up as FA in the off-season. He is either in NJ or Orlando. I don't have time right now to research, but somebody should follow up. He is not a Warrior.
...wat ~~~ and he's in ORL. this is a damn old thread, lol
