24 was great last night and Jack Bauer only said "copy that" 4 times. Since it is only an hour, are you sure you are not sneaking off to see American Idol instead??

Come on, if the Pistons are winning come into chat and provide some HQisms:MusicBigGrin:

I hope we don't get burned in the 1st and 3rd quarters now with the slow footed Dyess out there starting. He's a rebound machine, but him and Sheed are both to old and slow to start together. Who is going to provide help D? According to Curry.. Dyess will make them better defensively...can't wait to see this.

Does Rodney Stuckey even play for the Pistons anymore?

Stuckey has had ONE assist in 3 out of the last 5 games. It's time to start rethinking this point guard experiment.

I think stuckey needs to cut back on the fruit. More sausages will do a body & mind good.

Poor AI - wherever the man goes, the team he is on always sucks it up.

A game that they trailed from the early in the first and came with 1 point a couple of times in the 4th but could get over the hump...

A great game by Dyess offset by a bad one by Stuckey....he probably should have worn his orange alstar head band. Although Stuckey was in there during the big run, he had nothing to do with it, and I am wondering if Curry should have brought in Tay with about 3 mins left for the xtra d and possible scoring...but nope, he went with the three guards and Dice and Sheed in the end.

Stuckey reminds me of Billups he first couple of years. Stuckey needs better coaching especially defensively. He is always out of position. Side note: Knicks/Spurs is one whale of a game. Hope they tire out Duncan and CO.

I seriously hope that this team did not tire out ( especially Dice!) with 4th Q effort.

Glad the players are playing for a coach they can respect, not Flip. Dice is the only one who actually gives a crap. This team has gone through 4 frickin coaches in a short time i.e. RC, LB, Flip and soon to be MC. The roster has to be revamped w/ a fresh new attitude. It's the players as much as the coaches. I don't know who the ring leader of the respect gang is, maybe Sheed??. But this thing has got to be stopped, or Joe better start holding a clip board.

Quickly headed to a lottery pick.

Replacing RC and LB had nothing to do with the players. Flip had three years with a championship caliber team and did not get it done. MC is a first year coach and it shows. They could have pulled this game out with a break here or there. Players have to believe in the message of a coach period. Maybe Curry's message is bullcrap. Do you think Curry deserves respect and confidence of his team?

Spurs may have been looking ahead to the Pistons game...

Knicks/Spurs went into OT, with the Knicks winning by 5 behind Krypton Nate's 32 points. If only Bynum was half the player of Nate...if only Stuckey was half....

Man that was bad. We started out the game horrible on both offense and defensive and basically never recovered. We came close in the end, but we had no business winning this one. The players all look lifeless out there. It just looks like they're going through the motions. Who could blame them after a ridiculous amount of lineup changes? All the players know the staff doesn't know what they're doing. Absolutely clueless.

What a difference a good coach can make. Look at the Bucks, their team is horrible and they have 3 key players injured (Bogut, Redd, Ridnour) yet they played with intensity and heart and clearly outplayed the Pistons.

Stuckey stinks although he denies it, AI tries but can't play D, Sheed's theme is mostly "why I have to do this or that???" at the same time grudingly agreeing that he has no post up game anymore.

Only trustworthy players are Dice with rebounding and Rip with scoring.

Not easy bunch of players for any coach.

With RC there was other talk besides Joe wanting to upgrade i.e. players complaining about his lack of flexibility, not a good communicator etc. They had tuned him out and LB was available.

LB was wearing his welcome thin w/ his bladder and other media distractions.

The team did not get it done in 3 years w/ Flip, what about self accountability? The players asked for MC as a guy they can respect. I can dig out the articles if you want a reminder. He was going to coach them up. Bottom line is a person w/ a good work ethic usually stays that way even under trying circumstances. Sick of the excuses for underachieving and playing stupid ball. Defense and rebounding are about effort and positioning. Does MC need to coach effort and heart too? Do the players need lessons on not jacking up low % shots?
