Interesting...a real playoff hopeful versus a mess team trying to find its identity.
Love versus Drummond should be interesting. One of many away games coming up.
I'm guessing our teams interest in this game will be less than spectacular.

    Minnesota 106 - Pistons 97

Pistons will pull off a road win against a quality team despite Kevin Love having a career night with 52 points and 7 three pointers.

The Pistons win this one only if the Twolves decide not to come out for the second half. And even then we would probably just squeeze out a victory.

Wolves led at the end of one 39-21.

Is too late to go to a movie?

Pistons tried to tank respectfully by mounting a comeback in the end. They were down 66-45 at the half.

Worst defense by the Pistons all season for the first three quarters....worst defense of Will Bynum by the Twolves all night.

Teen Wolf tried to bring back the Pistons from 30 down in the 4th, but he started to late. In the end, he and Smith shot 10-28, which was just a tab better than their showing in the Bulls game where they shot 6-31. At one point he was not passing the ball to anyone unless his name was "hoop".

Final score Wolves 114> Pistons 101
I am certain that the Hawks will lose to both Warriors and Clippers this weekend so another blown opportunity to get closer.....

I hate to criticize. But, in your 2nd to last paragraph, first line, "to", has to be changed to "too." Sorry to be so critical of your post.

So what did Singler do. He hit a triple. After we were already down 30. Besides that? He was an open door for Martin pretty much every play. It would have been worse if boredom had not set in to the point it simply was no longer fun to burn Singler every play. Was there other problems? Sure, but they were minor. Early on, the announcers claimed Rubio was killing us with his penetration. Some truth, but it completely ignores that Singler was their main target time after time down the floor. Adjustments? Coaching staff is desperately trying to install zones so that they can hide Singler on the defensive end since there is no such thing as an NBA player he can guard.

PS, Singler happened to be minus. Minus 33. With Singler off the floor, the Pistons were plus 20 in 18 minutes. And that was not just in the 2nd half when Minny was bored to insanity and let up a bit. We were making a bit of noise 2nd quarter, so coach brought Singler in to kill that.

Pope got to play. What a contrast. Actual ability.

JJ got to play. He was doing great. So they pulled him and put in CV, who did exactly nothing. Tanking? Pretty obvious this coach is putting zero effort toward getting us wins. Horrible attitude by the coach, or complete incompetence, or orders from up above to lose at all costs. Whatever, you could not try as a coach any harder to make sure your team loses.

Josh Smith was -32. I think he was pulling Singler down.

Drum had 2 points and 1 rebound until our scrubs over achieved in garbage time. If he didn't get the chance to get back in the game, it would have been his worst ever.

Will Bynum was +12. Perhaps they just needed to play him more.

    Jennings -23
    Smith 4 of 14, - 32
Drummond 7 rebs (low for him), 6 PF

    Yeah just minor problems..........

What do announcers know? They don't watch tape like you do so they don't see the damage being done by the other team exploiting Singler. So they ignore it. I can't think of any other reason for there lack of noticing it..........

It was amazing watching the Wolves fly up the court repeatedly in roughly 1.5 seconds to score after the Pistons would miss a shot. How many times did they go in a straight line to the hoop for a dunk or layup?

If it were me I'd try to hit Drummond with a lob my first few trips down the floor so he can touch the ball.

I can't believe we're back to square one staring at a total tear down/rebuild. Unreal.

Needed more scrubs. Why no jorts anymore? He was doing pretty well I thought. Tony Mitchell should get an audition. Time to really explore the roster.

Interim coach not incented to tank or develop.

It would actually be a "tad" better. Tab is a one calorie beverage designed by the Coca-Cola company. :)

There weren't to many positives from this game but here are some:

Datomi was plus 18 for the game. He wasn't to good on offense (0-3) but he was good at being on the court when Will Bynum was lighting it up...so I give him an B plus

Charlie Villanueva Charlie had 12 points and 12 boards (48 minute stats) so he wasn't to bad. I think he stopped working out some time ago. B plus

KCP had a good game to. He has become a lot more aggressive now that his minutes are limited. B Plus

JJ played well. He to is aggressive and doing the hustle things he needs to do. B plus

Greg Monroe had a solid game with 20 points and 15 boards. To bad he didn't get more help from his teammates B Plus

Bynum had one of those Teen Wolf games we don't see to often anymore. A
