The Timberwolves are making bold moves and acquiring some nice talent. I can't keep track of it all but they'll be interesting next season. I'm sure Pistons fans want to see that type of shake up but this is Kahn (KAHHHHHHNNNNN!!!!) so we'll see how it all works out.

Anyone getting Free agent envy? What have we done? Made a crap trade to shed salary and over stack our 3 spot?

Also the Suns have been real busy. Hornets plan to match Eric Gordon tho.

The TWolves had only one draft pick and it was#58.

    Roster looks like this:

PG: Ricky Rubio, Luke Ridnour, Jose Juan Berea
SG: Brandon Roy (FA), Wesley Johnson, Wayne Ellington, Malcolm Lee
SF: Nicholas Batum (FA), Derrick Williams, Robbie Hummell (draft), Martell Webster (gone?)
    PF: Kevin Love
C: Nikola Pekovic, Darko Milicic (gone?), Brad Miller (gone?)

I put "gone?" on a few of these players because Minnesota has spent more money than they are allowed on Batum and Roy. They need to drop, trade, or amnesty some guys by July 11.

I am envious of a lot of teams, but the TWolves is not one of them. This looks like a bottom 10 lottery team to me.

They look pretty good at the PG spot if Rubio is back to his peak.

I bet they are looking to trade Ridnour or Barea. We could take one of those guys off their hands for, say, Villenueva.

Two moves in one day was exciting. Irregardless, there is a long way to go.

I don't agree with this that much. Although Rubio is an excellent passer, he is well off the Rondo's and C.Pauls of the league. And as an aside, he is an extremely poor finisher near the rim and an average shooter.

Most people said the same thing about Rondo a few years ago. Nice passer, no shot and poor finisher at the rim. Not that that means Rubio will get to where Rondo is now. Because now, he's incredible.

Have him do it in skates and he might get one of those 17 year contracts in the NHL as a fallback if he doesn't make it to the NBA.

Have him throw left-handed, too. A left-handed, relief pitching specialist is good for a couple of million dollars per year and you only have to pitch to a couple of batters per week. Good gig.

Oh I'm already one-step ahead of you Bill.
His right arm has been duc-taped to his side since he was about 8 months old.
Whenever he complains I just make him run more laps or do extra reps in the weight room.
