Should Mo Evans be waived for his crime?

As revealed in today's Detroit Free Press. Mo Evans viciously pre-sprinkled Ben Wallace's rosin powder on the scorer's table prior to the game in Milwaukee. This is clearly unacceptable behavior.

Should he have been waived for the egregious offense?

I picked Carlos Delfino because I think that is the only answer that makes sense.

Mo should get a rosin spot in front of Fred McLeod and/or any ESPN delegation.

How dare he? Mo Evans is not deserving enough to even use rosin powder, What does he need it for?

A tough suspension would be in line here. Tonights game against the Wiz and the playoffs should be sufficient.

That would teach him a lesson, and make most of us happy!!!!

I am very surprised that ben played after mo used the powder; this could have brought on another temper tantrum.

Now you understand why and how Mo "Mayhem" Evans gets minutes.
He dominates the scorers table via the rosin bag. Intimidation. The ability to shoot the 3 like everybody else last nite.
Truly a bench enigma. And future NBA Bench Star.

    Should have been another question.

Evans should be banned because his near point per minute average and over 70% overall FG and over 70% 3-pt perc in the playoffs is completely inadequate.

Yeah he needs to do 80% across the board to maintain his NBA Bench Star status. And still get away with rosin bag intimidation.

True. I also noticed Mo has 0 turns so far. He will have to work on that and try to sail at least one no look pass into the 1st row every home game.

Its True! Did you catch that one game at the end of the reg season when Delfino dribbled the ball all the way down court on a possible game winning play and bounced it off his foot out of bounds?

Yea - Del supporters will argue that he does not play enough to be sharp. He has some competition this year. Delfino had his chance last year. This year we needed an insurance policy in case it happened again and that insurance policy has outplayed him for his spot. Thats really about the gist of it.

    yeah, I saw it.

I still think Delfino has potential although he has undoubtedly had a subpar year.

Evans, on the other hand, has definitely grown on me. Can't argue with results and Evans has been one of many reasons why are bench has looked awesome this playoffs.

Delfino is basically a rookie this year, so next year should be "his year." He prolly wasn't paying attention last year this time; too busy poutin. Came to summer leagues way out of shape and had a forgettable summer to boot.

I thought Delfino's game started coming around about mid-season, even though his shot was suspect. If he works hard this summer and finds his shot, he just may emerge next year.

Mo Evans's "upside" has been seriously under-estimated IMO. He finds ways to contribute. Seems to me that Mo is basically an upgrade over Dupree, who by the way "would have" taken Delfino's minutes this year anyway.

If Delfino can't TAKE the job away from Mo, then perhaps he should be looking at a non-contender, long term. Cause it won't be long before Amir bursts onto the scene.

Evans is a Dupree upgrade... I totally agree. Dupree with a 3.

mo sure didn't look too good in game 3 against lebron. the true mo evans came out when he was required to create his own shot. it threw the rest of his game out of whack. delfino's chance to contribute in the playoffs hasn't passed.

he doesn't just have to take it from mo he has to take it from flip too. i hope he somehow ends up on the non contender orlando and gets unleashed on the league. just like that last guy on our team that couldn't TAKE the job from 3 all stars.

Evans is not an upgrade over Ronald Dupree. Dupe was an true 3 with incomparably better defensive instincts, higher bball IQ, better hands, better rebounding ability, and approximately equal athleticism. His shot wasn't as good, but Mo can only get his shot off against scrubs anyway, so that doesn't really matter. I thought last season that one of LB's major failures in the regular season was his refusal to use Dupe when a backup for Tayshaun was needed.

Mo Evans is definitely more consistent than Ronald Dupree was, but that's not necessarily a good thing. When Mo is bad, he's really, really bad - and he's bad consistently.

Mo Evans' "upside potential" and "contributions" have been seriously overestimated by the Flip fans.

(Reminder to the America-firsters: I did not mention Delfino in this post)

ahb, can you name 2 regular season non-garbage time games that you are basing this Ron Dupree assessment off of?
