It was a dark and stormy night and there was a murder to commit. Slippy :typing: The Low and let him know the Headphoned one was selected to spill some hemoglobin. The Low :spy: got on it lickety split and shut down Roscoe at his server. Roscoe :ranger: saw that he was :rip: and :whoo: figured he was free from this damn game to pursue loftier interests. Meanwhile, a few people were:confused: and others were :bolt: but then they all got to talking and a little :argue: got mixed in with some :caked: while Slippy and Roscoe  enjoyed the show. Three people were tied for a hanging and Darth :boink: the GM to pick a killer while  it wasn't him. However God said :violin: to Darth and filed a restraining order. It was AuroraKMW that drew that odd coin and she was :boom: . Everybody else went :whoo: but publicly they said :mad2: over the injustice of it all. Then the low :laser: the prof but by then some:gossip: was going on and they:mod: the murderer before he could strike again.

Great detecting work people. we will be moving on to murder2 and in a few days I will be closing these threads so as to not mess the next game up. And yes, the keyword was: jumpers

Thanks for all the fun Slippy. :hail:

I think everyone enjoyed this. I'm hoping more people play the improved version coming soon.

Slippy, the murder recap is the best! Also I can't tell you how hard I laughed at your descriptions of the murders and the hangings. I can't wait for the new improved game. I hope I'm not the first to hang again though.:ohwell: Thanks for making it so much fun!

It was fun to watch the events unfold and having my dad killed and all.
hopefully I can join in on this "improved version".
lets see you guys try to hang a teenager for murder and have a clean conscience!
and also...to make it more interesting, how about something involving two murderers, or a backup murderer or something of the likes to keep it going longer.

Tayshaunofthedead, you have no idea the kind of lynch mob mentality we're dealing with! I wouldn't hope for any clemency or restraint from this gang. Some were even complaining of the time between hangings!

Yeah, Nobody is safe with this motley crew.:fear:

Maybe we should open the games with a ceremonial torch lighting like in the olympics and hanging of Linwood. Just to set the mood.

Maybe an opening story. Like we are all deserted on an island or something. I dunno.

I'd like a different way to break ties if possible. Maybe have a 24 hour new vote only with the people who are tied.

We need to encourage everyone to vote and put a definite limit on the time. Maybe penalize non-voters by automatically using their own vote against them for that round.

By the way, good job by the Low as the murder.

so why DID i go second, honest? devastating good looks? dangerous deductive powers? or do you just find optimists irritating enough to kill (either way, it's all good :pound: )?

Prof, your avatar looks like one of the paintings in the Scoopy Doo cartoons where the eyes move.

I tried not to put too much thought into it. I also noticed that your name would be easiest to drop in somewhere in text and not be as obvious as say TFD or Wart.....

Plus, there was not much interaction between you and I so I figured that would leave a cold trail as well. I knew some folks would try to find a reasoning behind the selection so I tried to be as random as possible.

I wanted to be a spectator for the first one, so I knew what was going on. But I'll be in for the next one.
