One of my favorite hoops sites did a breakdown of the top 15 MVP candidates, a list that includes three Pistons. Looks like Chauncey is the winner according to this article.

all sounds well and good, but the question is: who would be more likely to take all nba PG? whoever wins that battle will win MVP.

i can't envision the majority of people selecting billups over nash, therefore it is impossible to have the second best PG win the MVP.

doesn't matter, nash can have regular season mvp, chauncey can have finals mvp any day of the week.

I have to agree with dba's statistical argument for Elton Brand. The Clippers get no respect, but he has been all-world this season and very consistent.

I don't see chauncey winning the MVP, but that doesn't matter. If we win the championship than everything will be good.
