Great comments here this past couple of weeks. I see we do have some baller fans still fired up about the playoffs. It gives us a chance to see the strength and weaknesses of other teams that were good enough to make it to the playoffs.

Larry Frank indicated he was going to take some Pistons to some playoff games to see the other players intensity, how they play under pressure and how the players and coaches draw their strategies. I have seen nearly everyone of the late games, and some of the earlier ones, but have not seen a crowd shots of Moose, Knight, Frank or Dumars chomping on popcorn. Has anyone else?

I saw Kevin Love at a couple of Clipper/Grizzly games a couple of weeks ago as if he was traveling on the Grizzly plane..

It's funny how all media and fans on one hand hate Kobe, but on the other end of the spectrum, all want him to win another ring. In other words, other teams get knocked out of the playoffs and they internally looked at themselves to see where they need to do improve.

However, when the Lakers get knocked out, the national media has to get involve and speculate whom to get rid or add to Kobe's support crew so that he can get that 6th ring and tie MJ and Pippen. Unless, the Spurs falter there is a possibility that Derek Fisher gets a six ring before Kobe does.

I'd bet the farm on D-Fish.

For sure. As long as Fish hangs with OKC, he has a great shot. I'm really fired up to see the Spurs/OKC series. Both of those teams have just destroyed their competition in the first two rounds. If I were a betting man, I would bet the farm on the Experience of the Spurs. Maybe next year for OKC.

To me, Thunder (stupid name for a team) vs Spurs is the NBA finals.
...ain't nobody from the East gonna beat either of those teams.

This should be a heckuva series!

How can I hate somebody that I don't know? I just think he is a bad team member, and way over hyped as a player.

Kobe is over hyped - especially the Michael Jordan comparisons. If Jordan had Bynum and Gasol on his team they would have won. Lakers have a pretty good team.

Anybody think LBJ deliberately stuck his foot under Granger last night, hoping he would land on it and fall? Watch the replay.

Sometimes I think when people are debating about whether a player is "better than Michael Jordan" what they are often really debating is whether that player is "more famous than Michael Jordan".

I had that thought too. I remembered back to when Eric Snow did that to Chauncey.

Is this before or after he was wrapped up driving to the hoop?

I don't know if you guys are joking or not with some of this stuff.

Ok, fair enough. Hate was probably too strong a word. Although, imo, all superstars are overhyped to a certain extent, some more than others.

Bruce Bowen's legacy is alive and well I see. Wonder if someone will try his patented kick to the face move?
On that note, the Pacers-Heat series is getting UGLY. Haslem's been suspended 1 game, Pittman 3 (not that he matters, but that was some dirty crap he pulled. Winking just made it worse).

I just saw in an article that Lebron mentioned the series against Detroit a few years ago as being so physical that it may have crossed the line. Just think if he would have had to face Mahorn, Laimbeer, Rodman, and Sally! He'd be calling in sick for game 2.

This is pretty funny, especially if you have seen the original video.
