"There are a total of 12 locker and dressing rooms, including team- specific locker rooms for the Lakers, Clippers and Kings." They keep their own locker rooms when they play each other. That is a really nice arena. I was there a couple of weeks after the trade for Sheed. He and Rip got techs and LB got tossed, and then the Pistons blew out the Clips in the 4th quarter. There were a ton of very vocal Pistons fans there, and when the clock ran out we were basically the only ones left.
Thanks lurker, I knew the three main teams had their own locker rooms, didn't know however there were a total 12 though. Thats' a lotta space to house band members and their entourages if you have multiple groups performing at the center on a given night. (say Grammys etc.)
I just seen that to, Claxton agrees to Atlanta-I hope not on the ESPN bottom screen. That's not good for Detroit since they were interested in him,
I heard it on another radio broadcast too. Joe cannot seek to add other players until he straightens out the Ben deal. In the meantime, we lose out on Claxton and possibly Bonzi in the next couple of days.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could get the readers digest version just like this everyday... cut the BS and get to the scoop. Thanx Roscoe
As soon as I master cloning, we will get all kinds of things like that. Digests and stuff. Of course the first 3 clones out of the lab will be busy chasing skirt, but I am sure clones 7~9 can handle the forum.
You may have inspired a new mini-Roscoe... let's see what we can do to colsolidate "the news" Quickly becoming the forum of choice for the scoop.
FA PGs available include Jannero Pargo, Chucky Cheeser atkins, and Darrel Armstrong. Dwyane Wade offered a maximum extension from Miami. Al Harrington is done like dinner in Atlanta. Matt Harpring close to re-signing with Utah. Mike James wants a 5 year deal, but teams are only interested in 3 year offers. Also, Minnesota is very interested in James, but they would need to do a S&T with Toronto, who claims to not want ANY of the T-Wolves players. Ben Wallace to Chicago. Lindsey Hunter back in Detroit. Nazr Mohammed to Detroit. Joel Pryzbilla stays in Portland. Spurs are officially screwed for a FA center. Can you say Lorenzen Wright anyone? or will they go after Alonzo Mourning?
Here is a link that says the weaknesses and strengths of the centers that are left-it's kind of old though, ben wallace and Muhammed are still on their, still good otherwise: http://www.mysanantonio.com/sports/stories/MYSA070106.1C.BKNspurs.chart.12d961ad.html
Nevermind, avoid that link... It screwed up some how... If I were the Spurs, I would go after whoever demands less money because they are both average
Utah looking to trade Devin Brown, Keith McLeod and Andre Owens to Golden State for Derek Fisher.... Damon Jones on the block.... Cleveland tried to acquire Ben Wallace in a S&T including Drew Gooden.... Rasual Butler is out there..... Jamaal Magloire is still on the block.... Jannero Pargo needs a home.... Dwyane Wade takes his extension..... Mike James is ecstatic about the interest in him.... DeShawn Stevenson is making zero headway with the Orlando Magic.... Jumaine Jones anyone? Updated latest transactions...
Just heard on local news, Spurs putting Beno Udrih up and releasing rights to that Scolas(?) Euro guy. They are trying to work on a deal where they can get a good trade to fit Spurs gap. No idea who they are looking at. Dang, I liked Beno
Beno is one of the truly great names in the NBA. "Where you Beno, at practice?" "When Tim dunks, sometimes I get Beno'd by the ball" "Nazr Mohammed couldn't Beno Spur anymore"
I'm with you Linwood! That puts Magloire about as close to Toronto as he can get without being traded. Our type of player too! Got my vote!!
