i can't go there... still had 2 half way decent choices this week so didn't have to worry about using the lions...

but if they pull off a win for you guys its tactically a good move, not many weeks you can think of using them.

This is the way I see it. We have Linehan, and he knows their personnel. We can't win on the road yet, so home is in our favour. It is the only place we can win. We have won 4 of our last 6 against them, during a period when we weren't very good.

In the Rams favour, I think they are on a 17 game losing streak. That can't go on.

I don't think Tennesee is as bad as 0-6 either. But if I go out, I am going out with the Leos.

This should be in the "Why I'm glad to be a Lions fan" thread.

Like I said, I couldn't pull the trigger. Yes, it's a great move tactically, but...just...too...scary. Then again, Halloween is supposed to be scary.

    4-3-2-1-0...blast off!

    4-survivors took Chicago

    3-took San Diego

    2-took the Lions

    1-took Dallas

and 1 person neglected to pick :(

Going into this week 4 people were still perfect.

    7 had one strike

5 were eliminated with 2 strikes.

So 11 survivors entering this week.

Picking the Lions was risky, but the payoff would have been nice. Plus think how much trash you could talk if they had won.

problem was each person that picked the lions already had one strike, I think if i was strikeless i might have reached, but to put my whole season in the hands of the lions..... come on none of us were born yesterday :P

The bible says that the meek shall inherit the earth. And that is all the guys still playing. In a tale of mice and men, the men have been tragically destroyed in a blaze of glory, but the mice persist, crawling around floorboards, picking the easy winners, scraps from the tables of true heroes and martyrs!

I should have taken Tennessee. I have a rule, about 16 years old now, never bet on the Lions.

But, I would rather burn out than fade away.

Really.."burn out" with the Lions? That makes it wayyy too exciting....It's like you picked Indy against New England. Please pick another comparison when you use the Lions....like you'd rather bang your head against the wall (without your fitted helmet) than fade away, or you'd rather be a moron than fade away. There has got to be a better comparison fo you having picked the Lions. I've learned to never bet for, or against, the Lions, You just never know.
