The Pistons hope to close out 2008 with a win against the NJ Nets. The Nets are playing .500 ball at the time of this post. PG Devin Harris should be an allstar and has beenn mentioned as an early MVP candidate.

Nets can't seem to win at home, but their road record is better.

I saw the nets in person 4 times last year and they did come close to winning.

Five games above 500 on the road, five games under 500 at home.

They can't wait to move out of Jersey to Brooklyn.

AI, Payback Time for you. Remember a guy name Harris?

    Well, maybe he's Stuck's problem now.:P

We need a win. Does anyone else feel like the 3rd seed is essenital to our PO success ?

(Avoiding BOS/ATL) I'll take our chances with the Cavs.

unless you see cleveland totally self destructing the best we can hope for at this point in the 4th seed.

I have always been of the thinking... to be the best you have to beat all comers anyways, so I'll be happy with whatever seed we get.

I hate to be negative but until i see some 8 game win streaks [like Bup-Bup assured us] and the grinding down of sub .500 teams like Mr. Big Shot gave us, this looks like a test game for Curry.
Partly because AI didn't come in here with the pedigree CB left with.

I am beginning to think Stuckey has that "thing" that just doesn't allow him to lose, he's got alot to learn but he's sure taking the curve pretty fast.

On another note anybody notice as the pistons start to figure it out that that team from the mile high city seems to be coming back down to earth.

And it's still only December. Way too early for everyone to abandon ship.

    Nuggs keep losing starters.
Stuckey is the bomb, Curry isn't.
    Hoping for the best.

oh i never jump from the ship.... though there were a few years i walked around with my life preserver on.....

just find it funny how folks couldn't stop telling us how great billiups did ever night after the trade was made and they seem to have stopped doing that now that detroit is figuring it out and the denver team seems to be dealing with injuries/and sorta falling back into old habits.

He has that calm look on his face that seems CB-esque.

How many big shots would he have to hit to steal the "Mr. Big Shot" moniker?

Thanks i didn't even realize that. I would have wondered how all of you knew the outcome of the game so early.
