That's not how it works now. The three division winners are only guaranteed a top 4 seed, not a top 3. A non-division winner can be as high as #2 in the conference, if the top 2 teams in the conference come from the same division. In our case, if (as seems likely) Boston ends up #1 in the East again while Cleveland stays ahead of the Pistons in the Central, the Pistons can still get the 3 seed if they finish with a better record than whoever wins the Southeast (i.e. they would need to finish ahead of both Orlando and Atlanta).
Ahh, that's what i originally thought that we just had to finish better than ORL/ATL. Ok back to 3rd seed LOL.
I am skeptical about the Brooklyn arena ever being built, they have cut out so much of the original plans. Too bad. I would have enjoyed to walk to a professional basketball game.
Which means it's 4am here on the first day of the new year. Probably not long after I just doze off to sleep. Wonder if I will from watching the game. Anyway, a will give me a very good start for 2009.
Let's beat NJ and the next two teams suck. Hopefully things are finally starting to come together. @Portland and Denver is no joke. I'm all for seeding. Its definitely not everything, sure, but why would you want to go through murderer's row?
Im lookin for Stuckey and AI to really step it up in this one. Prove that they should bring Rip off the bench. Stones by 10
