I saw where we are looking at the Steelers #3 WR.
    -
Remember all the BS about signing Cassel to back up Brady @ $12M or so. Franchising him etc.

    In Bill Belichick I trust!!!

I love this guy! He helped Scott, yet still robbed him! Cassel at the beginning was a backup QB, and a 7th overall guy!! Cassel will be a decent QB, but he had weapons around him. Mainly Randy Moss + Wes Welker. So the jury is out if he will become that "Franchise QB," but I wish Matt Cassel well, thanks to him we went 11-5. This second rounder gives us so many options since this year's draft is very good!

    Options:

Draft who ever with 3 SECOND ROUND PICKS!

Package two picks from the second round (or include 23) and move up as far as top 10!

    Okpako and MAYO??? WOW

Now Bill must extend Vince Wilfork and maybe sign another WR or CB.

Not to mention there's talks of Peppers going to New England now. :smoke06:

This off season has been a blast....now to see what continues!

    :reading:

@ TheeTFD - What's wrong with having a little insurance plan incase your main QB is out longer then expected?

"It was the second trade in as many days between the clubs, which turned into a package deal of Cassel and linebacker Mike Vrabel for Kansas City’s second-round pick (No. 34) this year."

Patriots get two 1st-round picks now as well, right? since cassel was franchised?

No, the Patriots would have gotten two first rounders IF the Chiefs or whoever else tried to SIGN HIM, but they didn't. Non-exclusive Tag. They traded for him so........

The trade was just for Chiefs's #34 overall.

We aint ready for a Great QB. As good as Cassell was, it is more important to them to make room for Peppers, if they can lure him from Carolina.

I'm sorry, but Peppers wants to go to a 3-4 Defense and be a winner!

Lat, I think Shwartz is a 4-3 guy. You're dreaming about Peppers.

I am aware of that. But why is Lions in this discussion (Peppers)? Of course, I want Peppers to go to NE and become their OLB.

    LOL, now that is COMEDY!

One year he cries for his quarterback, the next he says he hates the Romo+Witten relationship, and now Jerry Jones gave him the axe in this tough economy.

Going back to Philly T.O.? I hear they need a WR. :burgereater::beer:

As a long time Cowboy fan, I just say thank god they got rid of him. He is the type of person that destroys team chemistry because that is exactly what he wants to do. Very selfish. I know Jerry Jones did not want to get rid of him because JJ loves superstars. Thank god someone got to him to axe TO. Now they have to work on those players in the lockerroom that were TO sympathizers. More players than you think I say. Great day for the Cowboy team and their fans.

95% of the mess was created by ESPN, and other sports reporters.

You can't sit there and tell me that not all WRs want to catch the ball, T.O. was just more vocal. :swords:

I love your lack of faith in establishment media, but don't assume it is always wrong (because then you will be wrong sometimes).

TO is a prima donna, he does it on purpose. He does it to set himself out from the pack.

Thanks Roscoe, but the way I see it is:

T.O. is a headcase, but for some reason is always "Crazy T.O." when his team doesn't win. There was nothing on TO-ROMO-WITTEN during the beginning of the season nor LAST SEASON when they were also poised to be in the Superbowl. He even cried about Romo!

I mean this guy barley had any beef with anyone during the Eagles championship drive, mostly yell at the coaches, but did yell at McNabb for not passing when he was open. He even went out there and played in the Superbowl with a hurt ankle, but then later criticized McNabb for being "lazy" because they didn't win.

See? As long, as you win, T.O. is a good little boy.

there is a huge difference between complaining about not getting the ball enough, which many a WR has done over the years..... and what TO does. He politics in the lockerroom and divides it. At the end of his time in Phili that lockerroom was two camps one for the WR and one for the QB, if you want to win..... You have to have the full support behind the QB. He's in every play, compared to the WR who gets thrown to 10 plays max in a game.

As announcers have said for years he's more worried about getting his, then the team winning.... if winning happens because he got his numbers that was a nice bonus, if they lost and he got his he didn't care.

A true cancer of a player and its shown true on three teams out of three..
