Well, it's all set: New England vs. Indianapolis and Chicago vs. New Orleans. Obviously, the feel-good story would be New Orleans getting to the Super Bowl. I'm cool with that. I just hope Indy punks the Patriots. I just have a hard time seeing Manning beating New England, even though the game is in Indianapolis. Living in New England, I'm so freakin' tired of the Pats. Most Patriots and Red Sox fans are so conceited that I can't stand to be around most of them. The Chargers were pissed about NE's celebration after the game. Was it overkill by the Patriots or sour grapes from the Chargers? I didn't watch the game so somebody give me their opinion. ESPN.com - NFL/PLAYOFFS06 - Tomlinson, Chargers angered by Pats' postgame romp
Living there sounds like the Skins fans here in DC!! One difference though, the Pats win..... I believe the Saints will make it to the Show, it`s something about Grossman that doesnt sit well with me, I think he costs the Beras the game in the NFC Ship. I wouldn`t bet against the Patriots. Ever. So, New England vs New Orleans in Super Bowl.............whatever it is
I was at that Bears game yesterday. Probably the best football game I've ever been to. The last overtime game I was at was at the Silverdome and Scott Mitchell threw an interception on the first play of overtime that got taken to the hi-ouse.
I wouldn't mind seeing an all-Midwest Super Bowl: Chicago vs. Indy, although I realize the Saints are the feel-good, made-for-TV, story.
Weather next Sunday favors the Saints Cool and dry. Where is that Chicago winter weather when the Bears need it? AccuWeather.com - Chicago, IL - 15 Day Weather Forecast - Local Weather Forecasts :nerd2:
No problem. The Dolts Defense will put it to them. The Pats would never have beaten Manning two years ago if they hadn't played that game in the refrigerator at night. Shouldn't have a problem finding a ticket either if you want to go. All those farmers in Indiana think it is Basketball season and of course they are right!!!
How many Super Bowls does the Pats have to win to make folk believe?? How many winning seasons? No matter what happens, people always doubt them, it`s amazing.
Orleans is a dome team, and the stats for dome teams is rough getting to the big game. Other than that I like the Brees to blow though Chi. Grossman wrecks it: Bears 19 Saints 22 ---------------------- Brady is better than a young Brett Farve. He's in Joe Montana's class. A monster.
there is NOOO FREEEKIN-BREEEKIN WAY the NFL lets the Saints lose this game!! nuff said.... SAINTS 19, BEARS 9 THERE is no frrekin-deekin way BRADYloses to MANNING NUFF SAID PATS 34, COLTS 24 .......NOW, what i wanna see : - a good battle between Hester and Bush - Brees vs Urlacher - Venirari misses 3 fg's and rips off his jersey to reveal a Colts suck t-shirt
I hope Manning beats the Pats. NE fans are arrogant. I'm rooting for Brees. What a great story for New Orleans to have a team in the Superbowl. Plus, I hate Urlacher.
Roscoe, a team who plays and wins like they do, they have a right to be arrogant! I hope the Saints make it to the Superbowl also........
I hate the Bears. Interesting though, Lovie Smith (another coach we passed over) will be the first African-American to coach a team in the Superbowl. Can Tony Dungy make it two?
The players can be arrogant, sure, but the fans don't really play for the team but act like they do. Their arrogance is completely annoying. They're just a bunch of fat-azz, pizza-eating, beer-swilling lumberjacks each with an IQ of less than 50 (which makes them plenty smart enough to understand football). OK, I'm generalizing a bit.
Hey I feel your pain when refering to arrogant fans. I live in the DC area, and they don`t get anymore arrogant than Redskin fans. Ask Armygirl and D4E. I am not a die hard football fan but the way the Pat`s play and they always seem to be right there every season the past 6-7 years has made me a fan of theirs. I am a very humble Pat`s fan though.........
The Bears were in a drought until now. The last time they played for the championship was in 1986 and that's when Payton was playing and Ditka was the coach. I'm not a Bears fan and I would love to see the Patriots/Colts take them out in the Superbowl.
