I'll agree that CB is better than Hinrich, but Hinrich is a darn fine player. In a couple of seasons, he could be great. He D's up, he scores, he passes. But CB's credentials and clutch ability put him in the league elite.
lack of R-E-S-P-E-C-T I think the city and its reputation has something to do with it. If people have a lack of respect for your roots, they will have a lack of respect for you. Detroit is not viewed in high regard and has accumulated many a stereotype. The brawl hasn't helped with that. Our style of play, and the lack of a marketable superstar haven't helped either. For some reason people don't like watching the Pistons play. Most fans and the media especially need a star to keep their interest.
It started happening when joe d and the badboys started getting physical with jordan. Then it started happening again when tay and badboys 2 got physical with kobe.
roots? so billups is from colorado his roots are there not here has more to do with the team not him. yes there is a lot of crap said about detroit and that helps form opinions but if any of the analysts have been here they know its not that bad. people should look at his play in the playoffs near perfect base thier judgments on that not numbers wich are not to shabby anyway for pgs.
