Looking for players, beginners and noobies who want to play PF.com fantasy basketball.

We will be using WEEKLY rosters in this league, which means you set your roster for the following week (Monday thru Sunday) by the Sunday previous.

So far I have interest from

    Ryder
    BallDon'tLie
    Aurora
    Discotom
    Raxrets

and possibly others. I would like to run a 10 or 12 man league but we can roll with as little as 8, so Kimmie has a better shot at getting her "hunks" on her squad. :P ;) :D

If you have played a lot of fantasy ball already, please contact MotownPride about playing in Advanced or webz about joining our Keeper league with an expansion franchise. I'd like to keep this league mostly for the newer players who want a soft start into the world of fantasy sports, or to polish their skills before competing in a tougher crowd.

Post to this thread, and I will contact you by PM with league info. Don't wait.

    I'm "small ball fan".

It is a matter of taste. Really.

The Ballaholics are registered and ready to avenge our playoff collapse from last year after we dominated the regular season. :D

8 players already, that's great. We have to agree on the live draft time.

A's Smooth Criminals. Aurora's Smooth Criminals was more than 20 characters so just remember the A stands for Aurora. I haven't unloaded my Archive box titled Pf.com Fantasy Basketball YET, but suffice it to say I still have my many colors of Sharpees, highlighters and my roll of butcher block paper for the wall. Now I'm in Sacramento I have an dedicated spare bedroom (like a dedicated satellite) to NBA fandom. I'll be ready and armed for the draft, make no mistake.

On the other hand...lmao...I have a history of picking my favorite players without regard for the draft order, and a real weakness for players with "potential" who I mightily believe will blossom under my watch, and an inexplicable loyalty to players with a quality I can only call "hotness."

So...just so you know what you're up against. :pound:Slippy and Darth are my character witnesses to both my fantasy gm weaknesses and strengths.:sssh:

But Roscoe man I am psyched to get back in the pf.com novice fantasy action! I am studying up. Anyone that's new, buy one of these fantasy draft magazines in the grocery store. I bought the Yahoo one. Then you can see the mock drafts and get an idea. If you've never done it, it is amazing how quickly the top and even best bench players go in the fantasy draft and how quickly you are down to the scrubs that you know nothing about. You're going to have to take about five of those guys, so it's good to know a little bit about them at least. That's my only draft hint so far.

Also, don't even think of taking Andres Nocioni. He's my pet low middle rounder this year. He's hot and he's from my new hometown team. Hands off guys.:)

I'm planning on drafting Nocioni, and then trading him to Aurora for Chris Paul and Dwight Howard.
