there is little green gross - this is "add player button"; doubleclick to flag: follow but do not pick up. also, I suggest to click those "o-rank" and "rank" tabs. o-rank is "preseason hype"; "rank" reflects weekly action. in "sort by" column I suggest to select "08-09 season total" now.
You can only alter Monday's lineups. This is a weekly league. Make sure you are editing lineups on a Monday for that week. If the problem persists, then I need to ask, are you using a modern web browser? Which one (and version)?
I have dropped Love and tried to sign Perkins for the C position. It says this: Note: If successful, this waiver claim will be reflected on your lineup for Monday, Nov 2. Can someone explain? Have I got Perkins now or not?
this is weekly league therefore all moves are set for next week. Keep that in your mind that waving process takes several days...
Perk has to clear waivers. This means until the waiver period expires, other people can also place a claim on him. If you go to the league homepage, you can see the waiver order next to your name in the standings. You're in 12th right now. You must have already used your waiver claim. As you use waivers, you fall to the back of the waiver pack. As others use theirs, you will move back up to a higher waiver priority. Remember what Rax said. New players won't impact your roster until Monday. So you have until Friday to make your moves and have them sure to be reflected on next week's roster. Free Agents can be picked up as late as Sunday evening.
Right I got an email saying the process is complete and the change will be reflected from Monday. So I guess I got him, which is why I am now 12th on the waiver list?
Thanks for clearing this up for me three-six. I was wondering what those 1-12 numbers were all about. ...and DANG IT! - I was trying to snag Dyess but had to settle for Roy Hibbert. The Damn Fibonaccis "out sequenced" me.
Darth helped me figure out what the deal was. I didn't realize that all the undrafted players were immediately put onto waivers for two days. Also I was setting the lineup for next week, but since we skipped this week, my current roster doesn't actually reflect those changes. All is well in Coynesterland. Thanks for the responses!
So drafted players who are dropped are placed on "waivers" ? As in you have to wait a while before signing them? And non drafted players, free agents, can be signed as and when with no wait?
Right. As other people use their waivers, you will move up the priority list as they fall behind you. Every dropped player has to clear waivers. That gives everyone two days notice that player is available. It prevents people from circumventing the trade action, by dropping a player, and someone else picking that player up instantly. Exactly. But they still won't be available until the following Monday.
Hey Novices, pay attention to Woody. He is the reigning Hockey Champ. If you want to see good and friendly fantasy smack talk, watch the PF Fantasy Hockey thread.
I recommend that everyone play around with the interface, and learn all of the different ways to analyze your roster. Ranks, opponents (very important in weekly leagues like ours), splits etc. If you have any questions, post away. And don't wait until Sunday to set your roster for Monday. Get it set now, and make changes over the weekend if you need to.
I think my roster is pretty much set now, here it is: PG Rodney Stuckey PG / SG SG Kobe Bryant SG G Andre Iguodala SG / PF SF Thaddeus Young SF / PF PF Boris Diaw SF / PF F Jason Richardson SG / SF C Tim Duncan PF / C C Kendrick Perkins C UTIL Ben Gordon SG UTIL Jarrett Jack PG / SG BENCH Anderson Varejao PF / C BENCH Mike Bibby PG BENCH Rashard Lewis SF / PF Anyone fancy doing a bit of analysis on that for me? Cheers!
