Big time trade goin down in the PF Novice league...Some mid season changes about to happen.

and Diaw

I'm looking for a power forward that can rebound. I'm willing to give up any of the shooting guards (Granger, Stuckey, Ben Gordon, or OJ Mayo). Maybe if the package is sweet enough, even one of my PG's (Deron Williams or Derrick Rose). Who's got too many bigs?

Well, Camby was on my trading block until he got hurt. Oh, well. I should have sold while I had the chance. LOL

I just read this whole thread to catch up on your league. Pretty entertaining stuff. I've been busy trying to keep my head above water in Advanced League and well...we'll see how that all goes soon. From a fan standpoint with your League I've got to go for the the Squirrels, especially because Ball Don't Lie and I both have Stephen Curry on our teams so we have a common bond there. Anyway, I was wondering if someone could just very briefly post the standings in this league at this point. Even though I read the thread, it's hard to tell where people are ranking and I'm kind of curious. Thanks to whoever might take this little task on. Good Luck Novice League, Aurora.

OK, post All-Star break stretch run.

3 weeks left of regular season, and still some positioning to be done.

8 play off spots, and the individual standings are all pretty close.

Ballaholics are the only team to clinch a playoff spot so far, and hold a commanding 5.5 game lead over the second place Squirrels (who have cleaned up their act a bit).

3rd and 4th place are still up in the air, with FreeThrowsBaby and the Coynesters only a half game apart.

The middle of the pack is pretty secure for the Studs, Arsenal and Sandwich Microwaves, but the 8th playoff seed is where it gets interesting. Felonious Fifteen and debbie the downer are in a virtual tie, and after tying 4-4-1 last week, it's still up in the air.

This is going to come down to the wire...Good luck everyone.

If the playoffs were to start today, we would be looking at the following:

(1) Ballaholics vs. (8) Debbie the downer
(4) FreeThrowsBaby vs. (5) South Beach Studs
(3) CJ's Coynesters vs. (6) Leicester Arsenal
(2) Denver Squirrels vs. (7) Sandwich Microwaves

But like I said in previous post, none of these spots are secure. Couple bad weeks, and 2 could move to 4, or 9 could move to 7.

My Squirrels are runnin' against your FreeThrowers this week. This is a scheduled loss for my squad as We're out-manned by 7 games from the get-go.

Our only hope is to salvage 3 or 4 points this week.

I'm hoping for a jump in the standings here, although the Sandwich Microwaves have given me fits in the past, so I might be more comfortable in the 4th seed going into the playoffs...

I just hope that your guys shoot like crap so I can win the percentage cats this week. I should take turnovers. If all of those things can happen and Rufus can convince the guys to get some steals and block some shots; we could control the damage.

...most likely though, we're getting killed this week.

Odder things have happened. Ive had some really bad shooting percentages the last few weeks, and I'm really suffering in rebounds. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised with a 5-4 finish or even worse for me!

I gotta get in the playoffs this year, after missing them last time!
