I got a tough hoe to row with Mr. Roscoe putting the beat down on day one to the tune of 7-2. Micro's had my number (1 minute on high) all season long so we'll see if its a 1 round and out situation.

After looking at the standings, it is clear that I won't be making the playoffs again. So, I am compiling a superteam and changing the rules so I can get in.

Kidding of course. I will lock down the rosters.

I make easy money every year betting on this. It's getting hard to find takers these days, though.:pound:

Maybe we should start a Novice League playoff bracket.

If you are still in the playoffs, you should be able to pick up free agents or even make trades. Once you are out, your roster should be locked so that you can't drop players that would effect the teams still in contention.

Of course there is. If you get 3rd you still get a trophy in your Yahoo trophy case that will be there forever. I have one from last year. :)

My guys keep sitting out games. That certainly will help your cause. If not, I don't mind the paying off route...

I think I'd prefer a praying route. Because I still believe that at least 50% of the fantasy league is luck. I mean, how else you call Nowitzki's comeback? Even though he missed one game this week and didn't produce to his standards in the game he did play (his numbers were basically matched by Mikky Moore for crying out loud!!!).
I've had my share of luck and misfortunes. I had Bynum on my roster - he goes down. I pick up Scola - Yao gets injured and Scola gets major minutes and produces. Anyone could've predicted that?

Yahoo's fantasy results aren't posted yet this morning, but looking at the box scores from last night's games I think Roscoe beat me 5-4.

I was up by one 3-pointer when I went to bed last night, but I think Scoe's Artest scored two more after that. I'm bummed to find out Maggette went out with an injury just 6 minutes into the 1st qtr...he's been hitting 3's for me lately.

I think Bill beat Mikhail 5-4 as well.

Congrats to Roscoe & Bill moving on to the finals! :)

How ironic that it is Roscoe's favorite NBA player (Ron Artest) that sends him into the Championship...
