Picking first didn't seem to help me.

last year tater and i drafted to win 5 cats every week and it worked. we had winning records but at 5-4 most of the time, it was like a snail crawling....and then a 3-6 loss really set you back

I dunno about that. Picking 10 & 11 successively sounds like a pretty good opportunity to get two perennial primo guys.

Meanwhile, mikhail is crushing all pre-season speculation :cold:

Would you believe picking last and picking badly?

And he autodrafted. So much for the best laid plans.

As I've said, it is luck. I put in time and effort into my Hockey League draft, and I'm dead last there. I ended up with autodraft (not by choice, by the way) in this basketball league, and I have gotten lucky with a couple of pick ups when my guys were injured and some people performing a lot better than most expected (Richard Jefferson, Bynum, G.Hill, and Baron Davis). But we still have lots of games to play and I wouldn't be surprised if my results start getting worse.

I need to get through the next couple of weeks before Hill and Bibby get healthy. I already lost Kevin Martin and Peja because they were out for a long time.

That's a scary thought. Your team is kicking my butt while it is injured.

It's closer than I'd like it to be, but I have wait for my guys to get back. Can't lose any more players. Hey, autodraft did a good job of picking for me, what can I say? And a couple of players are producing way above their norm. Anyone expected Jefferson to average 25 this year? Or me getting lucky with Hill and Bynum?

Basketballers approached me about a trade and he listed players who were untouchable (Kobe Vince Hedo Bosh) and wanted Rip so I proposed this 1 and he turned it down. Then he offered it to me the next day and I accepted. If you were in my position where someone wants a player you have, you gotta try and make the move. Consequently I had proposed a deal with Aurora that I am glad she turned down because it was made under the assumption that the deal with Basketballers had gone through.. Ahhh the dirty underbelly of fantasy ball

LOL Sausage King! I rather liked your offer but I am emotionally attached to my losing team. It's quite pathetic really. Advice for fantasy owners in the future: Never EVER put together a team of pet players that you love to watch and really don't even care whether they are doing great or not. It really clouds the objectivity of a fantasy GM. Plus, I'm so confused about why they are doing so poorly. It seems like they play good when I see them on TV. LOL.

I thought for sure i was doomed to fall to roscoe's mighty hand but the pizza gods intervened and delivered a super supremo with double toppings at the last minute.

Another one of my players is down, I knew that being on the top in my first ever fantasy league was too good to be true. Concequently I lost my match with Laimbs, and the future doesn't look as bright anymore. :)

Think of the bright side. With guys injured, that allowed you to win the turnover category against me. :pound:

Well, Bynum is gone 2-3 months with knee injury. I think my luck is just about over. Bibby should come back in a few days, maybe he'll be the addition that keeps me going.

Research has proven that guys that are auto-drafted have a 17.4% higher likelihood of getting injured.
