Smush steals one for the D-Nots

Smush Parker came up with 4 steals on Sunday to squeak a 5-4 victory over Max11. "We knew we couldn't beat him," said GM slippy, "so we had to basically bum rush him with everybody. When we ran out of players, we went out and got more." Parker was one of those extra guys brought in. "I was on fire," said Smush recounting his frist two games, "as soon as I got to this team, I lost my shooting touch." Go figure. The D-Nots had a notoriously slow start with Desmond Mason laying bricks like...well  ...

sheer weight of numbers my friend. i ranked 1st in the league in FG%, points, rebounds, assists and tied for 2nd in steals and blocks.

i ranked dead last in turnovers though.

i don't think my guys played any more games, they must have just had a good week. :)

I thought for sure I would be dead last in turnovers.

You have shopped at SLippy's Emporium of Mid to Upper Echelon Bigs and you must be a satisfied customer! Camby's monster game. Why didn't he do that for me? I think it was a good trade, Jamison fired just enough threes to squeak by my matchup. Camby was one of my favourite players. I was sad to see him go but had to bring balance to the 'Nots. Of course, Camby comes with a 2 day limited warranty. :eyebrows:

Hope this works. i let go of jim jackson because he's just been sucking for derek anderson of the houston rockets since i expect him to have more playing time with T-MAC out for about 3 weeks with back problems. And guess who has T-MAC as there best plkayer, yeah my next opponent.

Yeah I'm glad Camby has come through so far, but he had an average game yesterday. With Nene out it means more playing time, but also more chance of injury. When your next best centre is Primoz Brezec, there's too much riding on him for my liking.

Maybe another monsta trade is in the pipeline...

I would have kept Jamison, but I was jammed at the F with Melo, Harrington, Brand, Garnett, J.Johnson, and C-Webb. I wonder if you would have taken Harrington instead... :ohwell:

My team was decimated by injury and crapy play this week.
Tinsley went down. Then Kirilenko went down. my team is way short handed right now. :(

Injury and crappy play are the name of the game for the Linwood Ave Allstars as well. My team is built around my two centers: Shaq and Tim. Shaq is out, and last night, Tim shot a blistering .162 from the field. I am also leading the league in turnovers.

On the other hand, Jefferson and Artest are filling up the stat sheet, (including turnovers:mad:), and Maurice Williams and Earl Boykins have provided a nice lift off the bench.

This is too good to be true. I am waiting for Camby to throw his back out or sprain an ankle or something. He is avg. 3 blocks a game and this is his second game where he has had over 20 boards and 7 blk's.

LaFrentz killed his shooting % trying to match his career high in points. He got his 32, but I almost wished he had stopped at 29...

Still pulled down some boards so it's all good....

duhon 1-11 for a horrible .091 fg% no free throws
harpring 1-7 for a whopping .143 fg% sad sad sad
Can I intrest anyone in a trade for an overrated pg and sg lol sniff:Cry::pout: :crutch:
