I'm firing him. Anyhow, hang tight. I got your offer, but I'm thinking of a package deal. It depends what a couple other people do. I'm in the middle of lots of negotiations. I've sent out offers and also have some sitting on my table. I just love fantasy basketball. LOL.
ok, I'm interested- basically, there's no player I wouldn't trade on my squad and until David West returns, I have a lack of PF's with Okur being my only healthy one.
I went down to St. Slippy's Infirmary Saw my teammates there They were lying on an MRI table With A strain, a sprain, a tear. Went up to see the doctor "Dey Ain't Gone Play," he spat I went back to see my players Good God, we los' some cats. I went up to my boy Odom Who's knee was sprained they said I'd get you 17 8 and all that but I'm sitting here on your bench Then I shook hands with Yao Ming Big guy you carried my team But now you got those street clothes and break beneath your knee Let it go, let go god bless you whereever you may roam I'd rather play CP3 but his ankle's keeping him home And they said Josh Smith's got a hernia WTF was that Out 4 weeks to recover Looks like ATL's trying to tank Cuz you know its all about G.O. And moving up in the draft All these teams shelving players Giving fantasy owners the shaft. So thats the end of my story Murph and May are out too And if anyone should ask you, I got the St. Slippy Infirmary Blues
nice piece Slippy, or should I say, Edgar Allan Poe? Probably the wrongest of all times to offer you long- term injured David West for one of your last healthy players I'd take any of your injured players, I've got Dampier, Dunleavy and Pietrus to offer. All of them are healthy with the 2xRalphi guarantee- check.
Slippy...that is so sad. Well, the poem is kinda sad, but the fact that you took the time to compose it... I can just see you crying over your bowl of Froot Loops at breakfast.
Oh what a night... At first, I was happy to see Wally back, but then- Wade injured after 6 mins in the game. Gerald Wallace, whom I badly wanted to acquire, has a career night- now Tater probably won't trade him against anyone else than Wade or Okur And Aurora's team has far more games than me left- where are all of my players???
No more tricky stuff for me. My 5-4 lead looked solid so I thought I'd get smart and bench my couple of Sunday guys who have the potential to shoot 1 for 15 and walk away with the win. I guess that block column was closer than I thought so I not only gave away the win, I ended up tying a category, the first of the year. I hate ties. Hate them even worse since my three Sunday guys played well enough to taken the week 5-4.
I've learned, the hard way, to never bench guys if it is even remotely close. You only end up out-smarting yourself. You got it now dba.
now Tater is simply killing me- seems like he's going to get his revenge. For my excuse, Ben Wallace, David West, Sczerbiak are out with injuries and he has Arenas. @dba you're talking about steals, right? Funny, because your 3 players recorded 1 steal (Nesterovic)- I was wondering how my guys managed a tie in steals with Nesterovoic recorind the one needed steal. Now I know. Thank you! @Roscoe It can run the other way too. I remember losing against Slippy by a 0.8 margin in FG% just because Tinsley decided to go 3- 21 or so...
I am still hurting. guys are still coming back...all except yao. i've managed to keep from losing big time but i am dropping in the rankings.
yah missing yao in my other league is huge. he helps so much in rebounding, points, blocks, and especially field goal percentage. i'm undermanned this week and 16 mile is getting some crazy rebounding performances out of guys like nick collison.
with 3 players sitting out (Wade is one of them) my squad is going to have a rough time, even against 16 Mile... that hurts
0.007 in FG%, 0.001 in FT%, one steal and one turnover were the difference between losing 3-6 and winning 7-2. Well, at least the sprockets aren't getting blown out anymore, but there is still a lot of ground to make up.
