I'm not whining in the least. I've been extremely blessed with no key injuries in both basketball and hockey every year. (Football is another matter). I'm merely stating facts. 1. Your team is better 2. Without Arenas, my chances of beating you are slim, and nearly non-existent in a two week match with Wart. 3. My team doesn't deserve to go to the finals even WITH Arenas.

wait, 2 weeks darth? it's single-elim right? and aurora, i may be up 8-1 but it's still close in several categories and anyone's game. i picked up kapono and etan thomas in the meantime in place of injured may and garbajosa, and so far kapono has come up big for me. but it's still gonna go down to sunday!!

I don't see why we wouldn't? I don't know much about most players, but I just checked the numbers of the guys she dropped and they don't impress me all that much. At least not more than my own players. But still...I don't think I want to get hemmed in where I can't pick someone up if I change my mind, need someone, or decide to bum rush you if necessary.
I learned the painful truth- regular season doesn't mean alot and injuries can ruin everything. But still, I love fantasy bball- I'm definetely in next season!

You had tough breaks all season long Slippy. I guess it just wasn't meant to be for you even though you built a rock solid team with depth. Nobody can overcome that many injuries. Wart, I'm just happy to be here. I didn't expect to get this far so no matter what happens I'm a happy camper. I began the season with a 7-1 loss to Ralph (with close scores in most cats) and frustratingly spent half the year trying to climb out of that hole because it seemed every week I would lose one cat by a smidgeon. I was also edged out of a playoff bye by about one game. Anyhow, yesterday night I took home the trophy (hockey) I really coveted so a 2nd place finish in basketball to the guy who lead the season from start to end would be fine & dandy with me. That being said...[sign]beware[/sign]. The Taters are always a scrappy bunch and have yet to lose a playoff series in any fantasy sport.

Yep. I thought about Biedrins but he ain't so hot lately. Anyhow, it looks like Ralphie grabbed him. I like jr Smith too and think he'd be a nice addition, but I don't really have anyone to drop for him. But there is probably space for him on your sorry roster!

I had to take a flyer on Wade. I think my only chance of beating Wart is with Wade so I have nothing to lose if he doesn't work out. Anyhow, Wade's always been a favorite, so how could I pass him up...especially with my other fave (Arenas) hobbled and useless?
