    trades...

Just putting out some feelers on the trade/waiver wire. Looks like the Linwood Allstars could use a good point guard... might have a first rate small forward to trade. Really not sure how this works/ is going to work. If this was a real team, I would be thrilled, but I seem to have a good rebounding, scoring, and shotblocking team, but not very good with the assists, 3 point, or free throws. (I got shaq).

Also, I have some questions about the bench. How does the bench score? Would it make sense to have an all star coming off the bench if you have two similar players at the same position?

Bench players don't score. You only get points from your starting position slots PG, SG, G, SF, PF, F, C, C, Util, Util. To use a player on the bench you simply need to assign one of your starting players to the Bench and move your bench player to one of the starting positions. Consequently, the Util spot can be used for any player.

So I could start RJeff, and put Artest in the utility spot, and get production from both?

    Yes

Hell yeah my teams sweet (at least I think).

    -Chris Paul
    -Kobe Bryant
    -Manu Ginobili
    -Peja Stojacovic
    -Jermaine Oneal
    -Kyle Korver
    -Andrew Bogut
    -Stromile Swift
    -Josh Howard
    -Donyell Marshall
    -Raymond Felton
    -Jim Jackson
    -Joe Smith
    -Michael Finley
    -Corliss Williamson

In real life this would probably not work out, but fantasy wise I think it will. I don't have any pistons though... I also have to get some good rebounders too.

I have two questions. I can't see the results of yesterdays game. I saw parts of it live when the game started but its all blank now.

Also, whats the deal with the waiver wire? I thought that when you pick a player, you get sent to the end of the line. I picked a play and got sent back but other have picked up players since then and retained their placement.

It's messed up for me too. I also saw the results but everything is gone now.

The waiver thing...did they pick up a free agent or a guy on waivers. If it's an F.A. it won't affect the waiver list.

A guy is only on waivers after someone drops him or all players initially not drafted (for a couple days only).

So if someone picks up an undrafted guy today, for example, it won't affect his waiver status. But if I drop a player today, and someone claims them on waivers (it takes 2 days to get him) then the person drops to the bottom of the list.

Oh, I see it now, You were making like you didn't know how this all works. I'll be wary of every trade you offer. :D

Actually, that makes sense. Thanks for the clarification.

Go to yahoo sports. In the upper right hand corner click fantasy. In the middle right hand corner it will say your team name and pistonsforum.com-novice.

Clicking on the pf.com novice part will show you all 12 teams matchups. It will have a number by each. That number shows how many categories you lead in right now (or trail in). It updated around noon today. As of today Sausage was up 4 categories to 3...so you were tied in 2.

If you click on "Linwood" it will show you how you did on any given day. Just click on the day you want and you'll see the stats.

Enjoy the victory. The Linwood Avenue Allstars are currently struggling with the loss of Shaquile O'Neil. When asked about losing the big Aristotle, forward Richard Jefferson replied:

"Not only do we miss him in the middle, but his presence in the lockeroom is badly needed. Without Shaq, this team lacks an identity and a direction"

I must have the most turnover prone team in the league.
