M, nothing wrong with doing lots of transactions. It shows you are active, and fighting for position.

You're smoking everyone in one of our basketball leagues, I haven't checked that one to see how many moves you have been making...

    Mikhail,

I hate to admit it, but I agree with eskimo breath. The rules allow unlimited moves. Do whtever it takes to improve your team.

Jammer doesn't know what he's talking about. He rarely does. Don't pay him any attention. He will not be taking home the big trophy.

Oh, it's fine. I am not a believer in all the moves, but this comes with poor draft. If I had the players that produced, would I really need to make all the moves?

Woody: Tell your team to get it in gear. I need you to stop Reds for me.

Talk about a battle between two bad teams. The hockey night is almost over. Super and I both had not svcored a goal or assist. He had ten guys playing. I had five. How is it I can be out manned so bad two weeks straight?????

Anyhow, he just scored two quick goals and I got an assist. We stink...well, my goalie got a rare shut out for me though...

    I'm trying, I'm trying!!

His goalies went nuts and both won. How depressing. Now Broduer has to win, win, and Hasek has to win too.

I chose Broduer and Hasek so I could win all the goalie stats, and then Reds does this to me.

The rest of my team is just average. However, the CREAM will rise TO THE TOP!!!

Is it just me, or are these seasons waaaaaaaaay toooooooo loooooong?

I see neither Woody or TaterTime can challenge me for 4th spot. Pretty sad, from two of the biggest crybabies in the league!

    Tato: Woody, wah! Wah! Wah!

    Woody: Yeah Tato, Wah! Wah!

Roscoe, see what you did by poking fun of this potato head. You have to be careful with these fragile beings.

Bill, aren't you late for your appointment?

(Don't worry, I didn't tell anyone that's why you really changed the draft time in baseball. I would never compromise HIPPA).:stirthepot:

Well, I'm pretty excited guys. My nine year old begins his Hockey initiation skills tonight. I sure hope he sticks with it. I can't wait to go to the games. I have a feeling his team will play a lot better than the Tater Bay Lightning. Yes, the fat lady is singing...

You guys can go ahead and gear up for the playoffs. I'm already planning NEXT years draft strategy which is:

    1. Don't do what I did this year.
    2. Remember rule #1.
    3. Don't let any Cannuckians in the league.

I think it's going to be a great race for the cup between Bill, Roscoe, Jammer and Bezeach.

    My prediction:
    Round 1
    Roscoe> Woody
    Lambs>Reds

    Round 2
Lambs>Bezeach (an upset...but maybe this time bezeaches team plays up to expectations in a playoff match)

Jammer>Roscoe (Battle of the Cannuckians...they kiss on center ice like Zeke and Magic before each game)

    Winner:

    Jammer>Lambs.

Champ: Jammer (But again, I think any of the top 4 could easily win).

Great season everyone!!! Thanks for your participation and good sportsmanship!:MusicBigGrin::MusicBigGrin: Nobody quit. WTG!

    TATER:

    Your logic escapes me.

I'm one point behind Micro, we're essentially tied, yet you say any of the top four could win. What happened to ME?

I'll be in fourth place as the playoffs begin, ahead of the sandwich man, and primed for a long playoff run.

Meanwhile, I'll keep checking on your progress in the CONSOLATION bracket.

I wasn't trying to slight you Woody. It's just a gut. Our year was LAST year, I think.

Darth Tater has made 111 roster transactions this season. 109 of those have been adding and cutting Marc-Andre Fleury. :pound::pound::pound:

    lmao. :pound:So true.

Well, I'm gone anyhow. I'll end up losing this week, and at best tied for 6th which means I'm out on the tiebreaker. (I think whoever has the better record on the previous week gets in). Tampa sucked and I made too many mistakes as a GM.

Good luck to all of the teams who will be battling for the trophy. I'll be there to take it back NEXT YEAR!Consider it a loan!:MusicBigGrin::MusicBigGrin:

Actually, the tiebreaker is most goals, which you win over Reds. It looks like Reds got a couple of late assists to take the lead, though. He could have made it even easier if he would not have benched Marty Turco, who had a shutout tonight.

Good luck in the consolation bracket, Darth. I didn't want to beat you again anyways...

I think most goals is only the tiebreaker to advance once you are already in the playoffs. I think the way you are placed on top of another team with the same record in the standings during the regular season is by whoever has the best record that week. So if thats true he would have advanced anyhow.

Opps. Must have missed this Mikhail. I was saying it tongue in cheek. I wasn't serious, of course. That kind of stuff is nuts. That's why I posted it.

Darth, I noticed that you are playing Bye in the first round of the Consolation tournament this week. I think this is a match-up you have a chance of winning. Don't change your strategy just because it's the playoffs. Stick to the same game plan that got you where you are today. Also, don't under-estimate Bye. He is a crafty one. I've seen him show up in many a tournaments.
