I'm giving Bezeach all he can handle. My goaltending is coming on at the right time.

I have a goal each fantasy season now. Finish in the playoffs at the same position or better in the playoffs. Like Woody was a 5th seed and it looks like he will finish 5th in the playoffs. I was a 4th seed, and at worst, I will finish 4th.

What sucks is when you finish 1st and end the playoffs in 4th. That really sucks.

You can't win every season, but as Joe Dumars has shown, it is possible to make the playoffs, not win a title and still be considered great. :)

You guys have a good battle going. It'll probably all come down to the +/- of Dustin Byfuglien on Sunday...

    Well...damn...I COULD for a while:pound:

Looks like Roscoe & Bezeach are going down to the wire. It will be neat seeing either team in the finals.:) It's about time a Bezeach team showed up in the playoffs. Maybe now he will talk some smack? Nah...

Jammer's goalies are literally NOT showing up. That's some bad luck. Only a hoser could have that happen.

Bill's team was under the radar because Jam & bezeach were fighting for first, but look out.

You guys should take it easy on the Cannuckians. Forum life will be hell if both miss the finals. :gun1:

Laugh at Dustin, but he's a D who plays W on the PP.

Whenever Chicago has injuries, he gets loads of ice time. It's like having an extra winger.

You have picked up your game lately, Roscoe. Three very nice moves recently:

    Franzen
    Richards
    Toskala

I was checking out all 3 of those guys.

Better luck next time to the Cannuckians.

It's Bezeach & Lambs in the final.

Both these guys have had success in the regular season, but neither has ever won a first place trophy(according to their yahoo profiles), so somebody will get their first one soon. Good luck to both!

Speaking of goals, good luck in the 9th place game. That would be a nice finish for you. Maybe Roscoe could give you another one of those cheap icons that say "9th/10 teams".

I didn't want to bring this up, but I think somebody put a mojo on my squad. I'm not accusing anyone, but there were two sets of sneaker footprints found in our locker room prior to my team inexplicably going belly up each week. If anyone has any information on this, please let me know. The bottoms of the shoes had the following design:

I checked the hockey board today. Nice chess match going on between Lambs and Beach. Two aggressive managers using the entire NHL against the other.

Bill, I noticed you dumped Heatly!

You're aware the finals go two weeks right? Just wondering...

Yeah. Mikhail learned that lesson the hard way when he accidentally dropped Gonchar earlier this season while Tatering.

Tatering should come with a disclaimer:

Warning. Tatering can be hazardous to your team's health...unless you're Tater.

I didn't accidentally drop anyone. I actually thought today was the last day of the league, so I intentionally dropped all of my guys who weren't playing today. I deserve to lose now for not knowing the rules, I guess.

I don't think people should be allowed to drop guys like Sidney Crosby, though.

Bill: Yeah, I know you messed up on the time. It would have been a wise move if it really ended today. I was just talking about Tatering in general. It probably won't cost you the match anyhow. I'm not picking your guys up. I have nothing to play for and I would just have to reset my lineups. I would imagine Bezeach, Jammer ,and Roscoe are still paying attention. Bezeach is the #10 waiver, so at least odds are he won't be able to use Heatly against you.

As far as dropping Crosby, etc. it can be a good thing. Sometimes Yahoo is really slow to let you do it when a player has a lingering injury with small odds of playing again that year or maybe not playing until the final month or something. So the manager can be stuck with a worthless guy for weeks or months. IMO, it's only bad when a team is no longer playing and starts dropping healthy guys.

Additionally, I didn't lock the lineups on the teams out of contention because they still are playing and can improve their standing if they choose.

Roscoe:Hey, at least you are still playing for a trophy! I think the way our playoffs are set (10 teams), we all still need to play another week. I set my lineup two weeks ago through April 6th so I wouldn't need to worry about it (unless I make a transaction, which I am avoiding like the plague, lol). I wish it was over too, but I feel the obligation to pay attention as commish, in case something happens like it did with Bill :( I'm only playing to avoid the cellar. You've got a possible trophy in the wings.
