Lawrence Frank wasn't exactly Lawrence Funderburke. Wasn't he the Student Manager of his HS team? I'll school that chump in some one-one one!
Wasn't Kuester a member of the Showtime Lakers? I'm always getting him confused with James Worthy.
I would also listen very closely to any argument that Michael Curry wasn't any NBA player.
I hear there is this short guy called Lawrence Franks that fits the bill... wonder if he's free..
Those teams also have LeBron, Wade, Duncan, Parker, George... Its a lot easier to look like a great coach if you have great players. Just ask our new coaching search consultant. You could combine the DNA or John Wooden, Red Auerbach and Chuck Daly and grow it in an incubator to create a Super-Coach. He still would be able to lead our current Piston roster into the playoffs.
Maybe the playoffs with a first round exit. But we'd all be mad at him for failing to tank.
Next up... Larry Drew. NBA rumors: Larry Drew 'impressed' Pistons, may interview - Detroit Bad Boys
JD used to do guys favors by pretending to be interested in them. Not sure how much of a favor it is at this point with our cellar dweller status and coaching carousel.
We should go after this guy as head coach if he retires: Rip Hamilton, Chicago Bulls Need to Say Goodbye - Yahoo! Sports

You son of a b***
When was the last time a Pistons' coach got 164,151 likes?
I think you can make the argument for the notion that Chicago might be better off by buying out Rip, maybe even that it's time for him to retire. But, it's just shoddy journalism to do it with this... In fact, Hamilton hasn't played a full season in 10 years, 2002-03 was the only season Hamilton played all 82 games in his career. Just one season. Like most players don't miss at least one game a year or even that most players never play all 82 in their careers. Bad writing.
For example.... the punk also known as King James has yet to play a full season in his career.
In 15 years, Billups only played in 82 games 1 time, and that was for MN when he wasn't a starter. The coach is a huge factor in terms of playing every game.
Milwaukee just hired Larry Drew. This process seems very bizarre.
Maybe it's the opposite... he was giving us a courtesy interview to make it look like coaches are interested in coming the D.
