I say we try to go for the young players. And some disgruntled players like Pau Gasol and Earl Watson. Ive been seen some great games on NBA TV. And i think we should try to get Ryan Gomes. He is young, and he has shown some poise the last 7 games or so. Best thing is, he is with Celtics, a disgruntled team despreatly searching for talent while Paul Pierce is out. We could give them Nazr Mohamad, they need a Center/PF Ryan Gomes can play two diffrent positions beautifully. SF: He is taller and is quicker then people think, he can drive past the smaller players. PF: He is nimble, quick, and agile. He can get past defenders and give the ball to Rip Hamilton, the best player in the league that can get off picks and get a shot. But i dont know, Tell me what you guys think.
Why would Memphis want Sheed? Memphis wants youth in return for Pau. Sheed is aging, on the decline and a headache if not in the right enviroment. The only teams that would be interested in Sheed are teams that think he could get them over the hump to the Finals. Perhaps Phoenix would be slightly interested. Other than that it is a hard sale.
Anybody Seen Ricky Davis? Explosive, Exciting, And Pumps Up The team. He is explosive and could get a shot for great perimeter shooters like Rip. Dosent have a bad shot either. Can produce 16 points, off the bench even though he is a starter. When he played in Boston, he produced 20+ points off the bench, was a great player there.
Even if he does make nearly $14 million over the next two years, it would be great to have a triple-double threat off the bench.
Wasn't he the idiot who shot at his own hoop to get rebounds once? Sorry, this guy is immensely talented but a malcontent and from what I have observed, doesn't possess the highest bball IQ (see last night's final shot for example).
Well i agree it is a risky move, but even if it hurt then more then helped, it wouldnt cause a breakdown in the team. I still think my post before the ricky davis one is a good idea. I mean good players hate to lose. Bring them to detroit where we have tons of talent, it would be great.
Yup. He was also the guy that played in the summer league for (a guesstimate) his first 6 years in the nba or so. Nothing seemed to make him happier than torching the YMCA crowd for 95 points a game. But he's not a total bad guy. Ricky Davis - Back to business Here's a little light reading on Ricky Davis from when he was in Boston.
Davis is a better Flip Murray than Flip Murray. Who knows, hanging around with the old men might calm him down. It would take that though to get his mind wrapped around coming off the bench.
Don't know if it's out there already but, Nazr for Jared Jefferies. New York is not happy with his play and is screaming for David Lee to start. This gives us: the starting 5 bench: Hunter, Delfino, Jefferies, Max/Dice and Dice/Davis Now trade Murry for that back up point and you now have you playoff roster.

Why would the Knicks want Nazr when they have Jerome James and Cato on the bench? Why would the Pistons want Jeffries when they need a shooter off the bench?
Good Question. Cato is done after this season. And if you package Francis (I don't think they're going to buy out that contract.) and one of the bigs for KG ... you're good. Why would the 'wolves do it? McHale gets the door, KG asks for a trade and Francis has less owed then KG. They'd still win about the same amount of games (new coach and all). Francis gets "his" team and tries to save his career. And Nazr and Blout could work. As far as what the Pistons need: they need post production and a 3 to compliment Max at the 4. Flip will be traded for the "shooter". I think a backup for Tay that can run the break, defend, and cause match up issues is a grater asset. Everyone wanted Harrington and he's a 3 listed at 6'11" as well. Again, it's just me running numbers and thinking out the box. Relax...I've been wrong before.
The only reason I can think of why Isiah wouldn't leap at this is that neither Nazr, James, nor Cato makes enough money.
The problem is that Jared Jeffries has even less offensive game than Delfino, and can't score even when he has a matchup advantage on paper. He's a good defender - not a great one, but kind of a more athletic Tayshaun Prince - but Flip has no use for that kind of player. Trenton Hassell, for example, is a better defender and actually has a post-up game and a jumpshot, and I'm not sure Flip would want him if he were available. Al Harrington? He's about 6-8, and so long as I hate his game it won't be "everyone".
