It's like I said last season. Joe has earned the right to make some mistakes. I figured about 4 down seasons would use up all his earned mulligans. Just didn't think the mighty would fall so far so fast.
Dumars has been quit average since 05. Getting to the point where he can't live off 04 anymore. That used to fly a couple of years ago. He has made so many mistakes since then. Teams are not trading right now. Lets wait until the trade deadline as that's when most of the big deals go down.
You're right...He's been able to live off of the outstanding regular season coaching that Flip Saunders provided since the 05-06 season. Without that though, he's been exposed as quite pedestrian these past few.
