His team takes after their General Manager. He is thinking of renaming them "Wimpy's Ostriches"

Dang it man, I'm so sick of losing. It seems like I've been waiting years to get healthy. If I can just limp into the playoffs I've got a good shot.

I reckon I've got a sleeper team here. I was last after the first month but I've been clawing my way back, and hopefully i can take you out this week or not lose too much ground on that 6th place.

your team does look very strong when healthy.

You really have had the injury bug lately. Must have been all of those midnight practices with no taped ankles.:nerd2:

    Okay Yoda. lol.

Obviously my complaint isn't with Yao Ming or Wally Z, who consequently are the only injured players I picked up during my run of bad luck. My issue is the rest of my healthy players that bit the dust. Strategically it made since to pick up Yao Ming when the rest of my team was healthy and I was sitting in first place. Wally Z even made sense at the time considering he was on his way back.

My problem was Redd, Tinsley, Boozer, Kaman, Ford, Iverson....Tony Allen who was lost for the season.....Peja...who was lost for the season.

    That's alot to recover from.

    But I still rise.

...and I will win the championship...oh great Yoda. ;)

Built for the playoffs hey Motown? You're going to have to make it there first! You have now been dragged down into the scrap-fest, and all of us down here have had a lot more experience!

I'm issuing you a Deputy Snaq-like Smackdown this week bro, in fact I would be destroying any other squad in the league this week.

But it's incredibly tight for the top 6. After this week anywhere from 4th-9th is still up for grabs for making the main bracket playoffs. I'm heartened to see my guys finish with a flurry but also disappointed to see others finishing strong too, such as Linwood and Griffin.

The next 3 weeks are going to be nail-biting...

Ming and Jefferson will be back soon and then we'll see whose laughing. And yes..you are handing me a class A beatdown. Your stats are astronomical, but I am not too far off. Don't sleep on the Prides.

I won't. Just enjoying a quick nap. Seriously I needed this win just to stay in the hunt. Too bad my rivals put up 8-1 weeks. Grrr...

I picked up Wade in open. I figured with Motown looking to storm back into the playoffs with a recuperated team, i needed to roll the dice on mr. wheelchair. I can afford to give up a few games but its not like Channing frye was a huge contributor either.

Ah Slippy one, I waived him last week hoping he would sit there for a couple of weeks and then I could grab him back before anyone did if his rehab looked good.

Have to decide if I want to sit on Joe Johnson or waive him in the next week or so. His deep thigh injury maybe season ending. He's already missed 4 games.

Its a tough call my DRE brother. Especially so late in the season. I would have really liked to have left him there but I think I'll need an edge later in the playoffs...provided I maintain my bye.

I'd have never guessed I'd be fighting the last week to get into the playoffs. I hope my fellas come out to play this week. :gun1:

Yeah Mo, I had to make some last minute moves myself. Unless Roscoe annihilates Kim, she is in, but you, me, Griff and webz are fighting for the last two spots. .. ..and I just happen to be facing Mr Wonder. Maybe he rests his guys since he has already clinched a bye:)

I'll need an off week so my guys can have a shot at becoming healthy. Butler and Billups...I hope they can get healthy for my run.
