I looked at y'all teams, and frankly I ain't impressed. Neither is JMax. Look at his face.

You will all be going the way of Superstarov in our Hockey league.

    Exactly.

Yeah, it has sucked so far, but that's why its a trial league, so we can see if its worth doing again.

I say we stick it out and try out some of the cool looking features that Yahoo doesn't have.

I'd have to say that Mo had the best draft and I had the worst. I just couldn't seem to get it together. I choked under the pressure. I'm... I'm... sorry...

Yeah Jammer, your squad looks fine to me. I got you in the first week and already I have matchup problems. Your guards and SF's do a bit of everything (Kidd, Carter, R.Davis, Iguodala).
Smush Parker is your worst rebounder at 3.3 and everyone else is over 4 RPG! Not to mention all your guards avg at least half a block!
Your TO's, FG% and FT% are all very impressive.
The only difference I see between our squads is I have a couple more guys who are set to raise their games this season, but if they don't I could be screwed. They will need to step up from week 1.

"People always tell me to keep my averages up," he said with a laugh. "They love me not for what I do on the court, but what I do for their fantasy teams. It just shows you how big it really is."

And while Kamla might have you believe that fantasy is a young man's game, the 31-year-old Mike James just dares you to pass him up.
"All I can say is if you don't draft me, you'll probably wind up trading for me later in the season," he said. "So why not do it now? You're only going to help yourself."

Dlev ,I wanted Brevin as a late round pickup and just as I had him in the que to pick, you grabbed him a couple of picks ahead of me. That pretty much was the way it played out all night. After I my first three pics of Wade, Duncan and Joe Johnson, someone always grabbed my next choice 1 to 3 picks ahead of me. :(

When I went after Kamen, Jammer grabbed him right before I, and I had to scramble to find another big man and the clock ran out on me and some how or another Villanueva was chosen. He must have been at the top of my que.

Even when I decided to target Tay for my small forward, some body grabbed him and I had to settle for what I hope will be a sleeper in Grant Hill.

The reverse order of the draft through a curve ball as you had to wait sometime 24 picks before you got to select again. I guess everybody had to go through that, but your back to back picks really helped you I think.

At one point my computer frozed in the 4th round but luckily I had my laptop open too. I am thinking of just turning the auto pick tonight in the advance league just to avoid the headache and frustration

You could always pre-rank your own list, or set more guys in the waiting queue. Say you want a PG for your next pick, just put 5 PG's in there and you are bound to get one of them.

I know I didn't use the queue as much as I should have and got timed out once, luckily my pre-draft list saved me and I got the guy I wanted anyway.

Yeah, I thats how I got Charlie V. He was next up in the que when the the clock ran out. All of my picks in the que were being picked off as fast as I could load them :gun1:

Re: Trial League Trash Talk and other Exchanges

    A couple of related announcements:

(1).I learned last night that the initial list of players who were not drafted and have cleared waivers are now available as free agents. So go adjust your rosters.

    (2) They cleared waivers at midnight last night EST. I know this because it shows the time some waiver claims went through and I went there shortly after midnight last night (I'm on mountain time so it's earlier here).

This is nicer than yahoos method because Yahoo makes you wait until after midnight Pacific time to see if your waiver went through or to wait for a player to clear. (I'm not sure if Motown set this but I like...I like!!!)

This means any trades we make should also be cleared by midnight est. Of course, all waivers need to wait two full days after the initial day a person is placed there before being cleared.

    Hope this wasn't too confusing.

Great info Darth! Thanks! I consider myself lucky to have you in Trial League. That's why its going to suck when I beat the "Kenny Rogers pine tar" out of you the first week of the season. :)

LOL. We shall see who wins week one. :gun1:

It's probably a short week so it's not the best week for us to play.:(

    Some movement at the station.

Motown - I see Haywood didnt last too long. I thought you were loving that pick?

Slippy - Been doing your homework, nice pickup on Bynum, but will he produce?

Griff - Very nice pickup with telfair, i was considering it myself but then i realised i already had 6 PG's...

And a quiet little trade between slippy and micro. that one looks pretty even to me.

Bynum is a short term fix. I figure at that point roll the dice on potential. who else is out there that does more than 5 pts 5 reb. It can't hurt because Brown is out and I don't have any other options at the C spot.
