Oregon Player punches BSU player after the game and gets restrained

It seems that Boise State playing was going over to talk trash. As he was obviously smiling about something yet angered Blount.

I agree that Blount is a "wackadoo. I think, however, the NFL tends to look past this kind of stuff and some idiot team will draft him anyhow (can you say Lions)?

But wasn't the BSU guy dumb to turn is head after taunting a guy who already was trying to fight his own team. Obviously the guy is from Northern Idaho and not from Detroit. Boom!

I think that blue field makes people angry. I know it pisses me off when I watched that game.

Yeah, I hate that field.

It's a big advantage for BSU. It camouflages the BSU player's movement, I think. It looks cool, but seriously, I got tired of it quick. They haven't lost on their turf in a lot of years.

Not sure I think Blount is a wackadoo. To me, he looks like an emotional kid who just lost an important game, and then was taunted by other team. There are many situations in real life where taunting someone might get you punched in the face, hopefully this doesn't ruin this kid's career opportunities.

He was picking a fight with his OWN team member before he went after the BSU guy who was taunting him. Emotions are one thing, and most of us lose our cool at some time or another, but dontcha think that this crossed the line?

I do think this crosses the line. As a result of his actions, he has been nationally embarrassed. Make the kid miss a game, get involved with anger management, force him to help old people for a couple weeks... you know, stuff that would be reasonable for losing your cool.

This dude is now gone for the year as Oregon suspended him for the season. We ain't talkin about red shirt action, he gone for good.

He was their # 1 offensive option, so hopes of staying in the top 25 have been damaged too.

The guy who taunted him in his face with the mini push, got nothing from BSU, so instead of doing handshakes at the beginning the game, maybe you should taunt the other teams key player to see if you can get that player knocked out...

Yeah, like today. Had a parent smacked her daughter off the chair because she had given her daughter money all summer thinking that she was going to summer school. The girl did not attend summer school. It all happened so quick. When you lose, you lose it. You would think the girl would have let her mother know before she entered my office. So stupid.

with Oregon suspending him for the season, it ruins his chance for rehabilitation and for keeping his skill sets fresh for any possible good showing in the NFL combines...next spring since he won't be working out...

I am not condoning his actions, but remember he was already upset about losing the game on national TV, but then the BSU player gets his face to rub it in, and then if you watch the tape, some of the fans do the same...

We have all lost our cool, and yes if you punch a co worker you possibly get fired, but this guys whole career could ruined cause somebody said something to him (yo mama.. I dunno?) and all the taunter got is a sore jaw for an evening....suspend him for at least game for starting the brouhaha

Fortunately for the player, his scholarship will stay intact. He needs to consider another career. One that involves studying.

From 2nd Rounder/3rd Rounder to perhaps no future. Wow.
