the game was fun, all of your responses have been fun. fun all around! max and herrmann might not put up the stats but they get our other players excited and that adds a lot that stats can't measure. rip and dice are playing hard and leading by example. this is the first time in awhile that we'll be playing meaningful games the rest of the year rather than locking up our seeding weeks early and twiddling our thumbs waiting for the playoffs...and i like that. it gets us in the mindset to play hard every game and fight for everything. i haven't seen them take any game for granted in awhile, and yeah we just beat 4 division winners. shweet. i'm not worried about dice being tired - this was their 3rd game in 4 nights. in the playoffs he can battle every few days and recover.
Hater. You sir are going on ignore once I figure out where it is and how to use it. Max could have easily had 2 rebounds if he got got the minutes Dyess has had gifted to him.
That is exactly what MC did in the last Boston game Herm guarding Pierce. Stupid Curry. But, we won that game. Probably because Pierce was so baffled that MC actually put Hermann on him he couldn't concentrate on his scoring.
Left click on another user's name in a thread, second option from the bottom. ;) Oh, and we all know you were kidding. :P
I think Herrrrman's pony tail would be pretty distracting to a shooter if he got it flapping around on D. There was a play last night, I only remember that there were 9 minutes to go or so in the 2nd or 4th quarter, and Herrrrrman chased down a loose ball from going out of bounds and all I could think was Primoz Brezek would have unnecessarily dived for the ball right there.
It was a really good win last night. There were several things that were good, but the best thing was that each player on the court showed heart. We won this game by sheer will, and that gives me hope for the PO.
I remember that play. I also remember the camera immediately after the play showing a visibly upset Curry. I wondered at the time if that was actually the play he had drawn up.
I think the Walt thing is self-evident. Last night Eli said, one day Walt might win player of the game without even playing. Isn't that the guy you want on the other team's best player?
LOL. Luckily, Curry realized it was an idiotic move and put him on Eddie House in the 2nd half which would have been better except Eddie House proceeded to light him up. I have nothing against Hermann personally, and i really think his hair looks fabulous. I often wonder how he gets it to still look that pretty after he sweats, but bottom line his defense sucks and while his strange lay-ups are nice, they don't make me ignore the fact that he can't guard anyone.
I can see Hermann on the bench, hasn't played, hasn't broken a sweat. Leans over to Darrel Walker and says, 'We've got this one in the bag." Walker replies, "We're down 5 man, with 4 seconds to go" Hermann says, "Oh, I meant player of the game"
