    Oh lawdy...

This is the game where Orlando licks their chops. They don't have to worry about us anymore.

alteast thats orlando's mindset going in... wallace has been the thorn in there side for so many years...

this is going to get interesting how we defend howard this year... ben has alway been better at helping on howard imo but nobody else on the team can hold him for long (unless max has one of his once a blue moon play out of his mind nights)

Going to have to rely on KB to hold his ground in this one.

I think Ben Wallace will do a pretty good job against Howard. He may not be able to defend him for 35+ minutes though.

Max can defend Howard in 5 minute increments.

I'm a lot more concerned with our perimeter defense and stopping dribble penetration than I am about DHo.

If Kwame outplays Howard, then I think we have a decent chance of winning this one.

What about the fact that they have a better power forward?

    ....and small forward?

    ....and point guard?

    ....and bench?

    ....and it's not even close?

Can't see how a team with terrible interior play beats a team with the best interior player in the league.

Carter is out, they don't have Turk anymore. They are playing JJ Recick, who won't be able to stay in front of any of our guards.

And we have sort of owned the Magic over the past few years.

D-Ho will score 70 and get 30 rebounds.

    Pistons will win by 4.

Howard will get his, you just have to take away the lob, and try and keep him off the offensive glass. Orl is not at their best when you make a Howard play offense out of the post.
    ROTFLMBO!!!

It's good to have a lot of optimism in this forum.....If we couldn't beat two NBA cellar dwellers, how do we expect to beat an NBA finalist??

JJ Reddick, Jameer Nelson and Ryan Anderson hit 15 three pointers among them yesterday while Carter was injured, Pietrus down with the flu and Lewis was still hanging at home with his suspension.

Even though Reddick may not be able to stay in front of anyone, I am not comfortable with our three point defense...but alas if Rip is back maybe our 4 guard play will offset the issues and we continue our magic over the Magic

Because they have a true loser in Vince Carter, who can screw up an entire game all by himself. The way I see it, this is our game to lose.

DANG! I guess we'll be spanked then. Orlando will probably run away with this one.

PS: I don't like Vince Carter that much.

Not buying into the Magic this year... VC's volume shooting will wear thin.
Take away Howard and this is a lousy defending team... Pistons will put up nice numbers... I'm inclined to go with the upset also.

    As you said..
    No Rip No Win.

    Orlando 130 - 85 Pistons

And Dwight won't need to play more than 25-30 minutes.

Hope Big Ben does not get hurt trying to defend Howard!!!

    :( :(

Damn.. but anyway I'll watch the game.. Who knows? Maybe Ben Gordon scores 60 points and Charlie V 40 points and 20 rebounds.. we'll still lose but it'll be a nice game to watch :pound:

Pistons are little brother this time. 130-85 sounds about right.
    They'll pay us back.........
