I missed all but the last five minutes of the Celt / Cavs game, but that was still worthwhile.

    - Sheed with hair

    - Pierce calmly putting the game away

    - Shaq missing free throws when it counted

    - LBJ actually whining about probably the most obvious carrying the ball call in years. Maybe it was the crab carry.

Seeing Cleveland lose is fun! Actually, I don't care about Cleveland one way or the other. Seeing LBJ lose is boatloads of fun!

    I'm diggin the Sheed fro.

Who would have thought that we'd have Big Ben back and his hair would be shorter than Sheed the Celtic?

Smart move by Doc to bring Sheed off the bench. No sense in forcing him or KG to bang with the true centers. Man, do they have a good lineup.

they did look really strong last night, depth everywhere and showed that cleveland really isn't that much different from last year.... they still won't be able to defend the outside shooting bigman.

as much as I don't want the celtics to win it all.... if i have to choice between them, cleveland and the lakers this year..... i choose the green.

Still wondering what Kareem Abdul-Jabbar did to get a ring last night?? Surprised that Magic didn't get another one since he always involved in some laker bull.

lakers did well without Pau Gasol, but who knows what would have occurred if the Clippers # 1 pick Blake Griffin had played??

Also what was Reggie Miller talking about saying that the Lakers can go 20-1 by December 10th?? The schedulers really set them up with a bunch of teams in transition and 17 of the first 21 games at home.

Sheed looked cool and I am happy for him, just wished he had cared in those last two seasons with the Pistons,

Looks like Flip's team will do well, but just wondering how they will fare in the playoffs if agent zero stays healthy the whole year.

I'll be rooting for the Spurs and Nuggets thank-you.
Last night watching Sheed come off the bench got me thinking, Why didn't we do that? That production and defense in a limited role makes you a Hero, in a major role it makes you a lazy, IDGAF malcontent. I guess that's what our problem is, our stars and starters are a contenders bench player.

I thought the same thing KGREG, but it seems that this team's coaching persona was all about not hurting egoes, under both Flip and Curry...so not bringing in Sheed or Tay off the bench and then flip-flopping with Rip and AI last year has doomed this team while other potential starters like Ben Gordon , Manu Ginobli , Lamar Odom, etc had no problems coming off the bench for Phil or Popovich etc..in the team mode first attitude...

Sheed will play harder now that lots of people (coaches, teammates, etc.) will hold him accountable.

So no one held him accountable after 2005 in the Pistons.Org?? I liked Sheed but I am not sure when the last time he realllllllllly played hard.

Also wondering with KG and Perkins racking up their usual techs, will Sheed play it mellow and shy way from the attention or be his usual I don't care what the refs say BS??

I agree BL, ...Sheed WILL likely play hard this year.
Sheed tends to "bring it" when he's inspired to do so. ...And quite frankly, there's no reson for him to not be inspired this year.

    He's got a 'decent' coach.
    3 HOF team mates.
A supporting cast which IMO has the best shot to rep the East in the finals.

I'm not sure about the Celtics guards. They seem to be able to dribble and set other people up for shots. How are you supposed to win like that?

Bargnani the high scoring player in the game for both teams as the Raps beat down the Cavs? That is unexpected.

    Cavs 0-2!

    Cavs 0-2 indeed. Poor things.

Spurs looked to be in mid-season form last night. Well, at least all of them except Jefferson.

Do you really need to wonder how a Flip Saunders team will fare in the playoffs?

Watching ESPN this morning and they got some nonsense called NBA 411 to give us some quick hits from around the L. They start it off with the Cavs are 0-2 but there is nothing to worry about, they are still a fine team. We're going to ignore it like it didn't happen.
