Marcus Thorton hit three treys The Kings, Marcus Thorton hit 8 treys in the game for 36 points including 3 long balls in the last 100 seconds of regulation, to help send the game into the first OT. This was a very good game, but the big three took over in the second OT as the Heat squeeze out their 12th straight win.
Double overtime, single digit rebounding. Way to phone it in, LeBran. Don't worry, someone else will get those boards for you.
Breaking news: LEBRON JAMES MAY STOP PROVIDING PRE-ENTERTAINMENT ENTERTAINMENT DUE TO CRITICISM BY PEOPLE WHO WANT HIM TO PROVIDE MORE ENTERTAINMENT LeBron James of Miami Heat may stop pregame dunk routine after criticism - ESPN
He should do the dunk contest, but at the same time he should use some of his champion capital and tell his critics to kiss his ass.
Some great games in the association tonight....a shoot out the Gahdon with Da Warriors and Knicks....a buzzer beater three by the Bucs courtesy of Monta Ellis over the Rockets stellar performances tonight >18 assists by Jose Calderon, 28 rebounds by Tyson Chandler and 54 points by Steph Curry!..including 11/13 from beyond the arc...... and triple double by k Durant 18-11-10 in 27 mins,,,because his team won by 45 points over the Hornets. The Spurs lost for the second time in 5 days....this time at home to the ....Suns?? The Jazz, the Rockets and Warriors all lost tonight which means a semi-bad idle Laker team gets a chance to move up in the standings and closer to a playoff spot with 24 games left.
I had a friend from Australia attending that Knicks-Warriors game - lucky guy! Before the game we were talking about Bogut, then I jokingly mused that Curry might put up 50. And it happened!
He really doesn't look like a guy that would put up 50 points in the Association. If he were playing for a high school team, he wouldn't look out of place age-wise. The best part about his performance was the efficiency. Very un-Kobe like.
Carmelo and JR were matching him....and a couple of TO's by Curry in the end when he was trying to pass and drive when he should have probably hoisted another couple of treys.....
When someone scores 50+ points on 65% shooting, including 85% 3pt on 13 attempts, you should be a lock to win. That is seriously efficient basketball. But it was a great game!
I am thinking that if David Lee had not been suspended for the fight at Indiana, he would have made the difference....certainly would have prevented Tyson Chandler from grabbing 28 boards, which at least probably translated to about 10 more points for the Knicks
Joakim Noah surely has to be in the running for line of the year after last night. 23 pts, 21 reb, 11 blk, 3 stl, 1 ast and only 1 PF.
Hmmm. Only one assist? I guess Noah only cares about his own stats, not in making his team better. (21 rebounds and 11 blocks? Sounds like my favorite kind of game to watch!)
Noah is one of the least graceful players in the NBA and he's absolutely AWESOME to watch. His jumper makes Shawn Marion's shot look like Ray Allen. Everything he does looks awkward but it's damn effective. ...Except this:
Speaking of Scalabrine, did you see the radio challenge where he played 4 of Boston's best amateur ballers back-to-back? He may be a bench warmer in the NBA, but watching him play, it's pretty clear that he IS in the NBA. Brian Scalabrine dominates one-on-one challenge - The Buzz - Boston.com sports news
Yea we give the business to allot of our bench players in all sports, but they are still very talented.
