Including Sacre, who was playing with 6 fouls and got a technical every time he fouled from that point on.

And had Sacre gotten 2 technicals he would have been ejected, but because they only had 5 he would have been able to stay in the game. However, every foul after that would have been a personal foul, a team foul, a technical free throw, and a flagrant foul - meaning they would receive a total of 2 foul shots and keep the ball.

After one more foul he would have 2 flagrant fouls meaning ejection. But because they only had 5 he would have been able to stay in the game. Though, every foul after that would have been a personal foul, a team foul, a technical free throw, a flagrant foul and an ejection. In this scenario the Cavs would receive 4 foul shots, the ball and get a free shot from half court worth 5 points.

After that? Well he would turn into Amir Johnson.

Sadly, we never got to that point...

Just think if Sheed would have found himself in that situation. Would have been heaven on earth for him. He could have finally engaged the refs in full debate where they would be forced to hear all of his arguments.

Coach Cheecks would have had him intentionally fouling down the stretch to stop the clock if that happened to the Pistons.

Just watched Cleveland beat Washington. The number one pick is no longer a punch line to a joke. He looked good inside and on midrangers. This was the sixth straight Washinton game I watched the past few days. I saw the Wiz come so close to, for the first time in franchise history, beating three straight teams that are over 20 wins more than losses. They lost in double OT to SA, after having beaten OK and Port.

The Wiz use three very good skills players in Wall, Beal, and Ariza along with some pretty decent bigs in Nene and Gortat. And they have some pretty darn good bench players too. But compared to the Pistons, their front line is noswhere near dominant as the Pistons front line. (Until you factor in Singler being part of our front line while Washington uses pretty solid front line players like Saraphin off the bench, so in all, we have a pretty poor front line compared to Washington.) (Also, the one reason we can beat Washington, Pope can shut down Beal 100%, but since we just took Pope out of the starting unit, I guess we can forget that. Going to have to rely on our starting front line doing major damage before coach destroys our front line by playing Singler there.)

In other NBA weird stuff, CP3 returns back to action tonight and his team excited to see him responds with a 46-15 first quarter as the Clippers currently lead the Sixers 58-19 with 7 mins left in the second qtr.

one of these teams is definitely tanking....

Halftime score - Clippers 69 Sixers 30. Sixers were 8 of 52 from the floor for a 15% bricking shooting percent. The sixers have tanked lost 5 in a row and heading for six. If their coach survives then yes they are tanking.

Final score Clips 123, Sixers 78....the 45 point victory was largest in team history. Their largest lead was 56 points.

The Clippers led 100-51 at end of 3 and played their scrubs in the 4th.

The Sixers would have cut it down from 49 to 15 and then ran out of time trying to catch the Pistons.

For those with NBA TV, you may have witnessed a team with three of their starters out managed to get a road win vs a team that was 24-4 at home.

Yep those never say die Spurs beat the Clippers in LA tonight as only Blake Griffin & Jamal Crawford (my two fantasy studs) show up for the game where the Spurs were missing starters Tony Parker, Tiaggo Splitter and Kwahi Leonard.

CP3 probably played to much in the all-star game and looked like Stuckey tonight shooting 1-11 and was a non-factor. The Clipps will be missing starting shooting guard JJ Reddick for another 3 weeks so they need to find his replacement and Jared Dudley was MIA again shooting 2-7 and 1-5 from beyond the arc....(we don't need him)

The Spurs don't sit players on the bench all season like the Pistons and Clippers do. Popovich plays at least 10-11 players a night no matter if the game is tight or a blowout. So on a night where three fifths of the starters were down and out, those bench players filled right in because they are used to playing every game and not once a month. Filling in for Tony Parker, Patty Mills scored 25 points including 14 in the 4th to hold off the Clippers. I just picked him up in the FA pool late last night, so lets hope he pays dividends for me.

One other note, the Spurs are 2-9 vs the top six teams and gulp, those two wins are vs the Clippers..........

I watched the 4th quarter after reading the recap. Patty Mills! He is finally getting an opportunity with Parker out and playing with a lot of confidence right now. He led the Olympics in scoring so can definitely put the ball in the hole. Clippers weren't playing with much energy and the Spurs were able to keep the lead at 10 most of the way down the stretch. Still not sure if the Spurs are going to be healthy enough to play through til June, but we'll see.

I always root for those old farts. Hopefully they'll go deep in the postseason again. I wouldn't mind seeing a Spurs-Heat rematch with the seniors coming on top this time.

Has anyone seen Melo play lately? Yeah, I know that means you have to watch the Knicks which surely ranks as a cruel and unusual punishment, but I saw the game with the Mavs the other night and was pretty impressed. The guy was working hard. And on that team it really stands out.

Dirk's last second shot bounce was lucky... but what the heck kind of defense is this?
